Is there a thought Michigan would not make the Tournament? That's seems amazing to me. I wouldn't think a win in the B1G champtionship would even be required after today.
That doesn't mean anything but just came to my mind after a second glass of loud mouth soup.
Well, a lot of us are talking and thinking about it, actually. But specifying the sport and maybe some context would still be a good idea, given that even us hockey fans are still kinda having fun with the basketball game this afternoon.
I think those who actually follow Basketball, Hockey, Football , what have you , know who is playing who and what sport is being referred too.

That's not irrational at all. That speaks to an entirely rational understanding of probability. There's a big difference between unlikely and impossible. :)
The PWR predictor gives Michigan a 99% probability of being in. Which is, um, rather good. Still, putting Wisconsin away assures Michigan of a spot that is otherwise only very probable. Better not to be nervous that some upsets could steal a bid.
Plus, that puts Michigan in a one-off, probably against an OSU team that's a bad matchup, but still a decent chance to steal a game and keep moving up.
They're playing with house money. It's great.
The problem is that other teams could still win and drop U-M further. So best to beat WI now.
