Lance Dixon potentially transferring from Penn State to UM
Seeing a bit of action that Lance Dixon is transferring from Penn State to UM. Former 5 star player under Bellamy. 247 has him listed as an OLB.
Not at all saying this is true, but if Bellamy is already pulling in top tier players, I have some hope recruiting may see a boost.

For future reference, the "Professor" title is usually a dead give-away. Probably not more than a handful of Professor student athletes running around out there. Just in case fellow psu potential transfer Brandon Taylor (DL) starts sniffing around UM, be aware he's not the author of the book "Real Life"...fwiw.

Dixon wasn't a 5 star. He was just inside the top 200, iirc.

People in Nebraska call the Huskers "UNL" when referring to the school, kind of like UGA for Georgia.

So we're clear - the "UGA" is more like UVA (where the GA and VA are the state acronyms) and UNL is for "University of Nebraska - Lincoln." I've heard people do this with Tennessee by calling it "UTK" since there are other UTs. "UGA" does not stand for University of Georgia - Athens, that is just a coincidence.

I've heard rumblings that Dixon is entering the transfer portal, but I have not seen or heard anything suggesting that he will definitely be transferring to UM. I would assume that Bellamy's hire would put us directly in play, however I would not count our chickens before they have hatched.

Agreed. That's why I said that I don't believe this is true yet in the post. Even if we get in play for him because of Bellamy, this is seeming like a really great hire from the recruiting perspective
