Part of me hates this though. UM has been hyped up all week because of last weekend, which is exactly what I said would happen if they beat Minny, so now Staee has nothing to lose and all the pressure is on UM.

We don't really know if UM is good yet. Promising start, but I would've rather flown under the radar for a bit. It is what it is at this point, we'll see how the team responds.

Well, I don't think we are bad, so we are at some level of good.
On the other hand, Sparty made Rutger look good on Saturday. Not good enough to earn the 's', but good in a "you really suck and we beat you" kind of way.
Sparty will fight hard for the first 10 minutes and then give up. Just like a lil bro is want to do.

Yeah but the alternative would be if we lost last weekend and felt football suicidal all this week and no pressure going in to the game. I'd rather be in this position.
From an all time historical perspective, Michigan has been the one with the pressure about 80% of the time. When there was no pressure on us during RichRod and Hoke, how exactly did those games go?

Might just be the least excited I've ever been for the Michigan/MSU game. That didn't even pump me up, tbh. And no disrespect to the creator of the video. It's just like, am I really supposed to be hype about this game? This is a bye week. This is Rutgers week. This is Maryland week. I'm just excited to watch my guys play, and the opponent isn't remotely on my mind.

It would be glorious if Dantonio was still around to get his whooping. Idk, I can't fake my enthusiasm for this one. Maybe it's COVID, maybe it's too early in the year, or we're too heavy of favorites. No fans in the stands, or students. No DPJ to hit the Paul celebration. We're also not doing our big Michigan/MSU party this year.
