Newly-minted Michigan coach Juwan Howard hosted four-star sophomore Bretner Mutombo for an unofficial visit yesterday, a source told @Stockrisers.

The 18-year NBA veteran has a son, Bretner, who plays for the Georgia Stars U16 team. Bretner, a class of 2021 recruit, isn’t as tall as his 7 foot, 2 inch dad (6’9), but is still growing. The elder Mutombo won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award four times and was an eight-time All-Star.

what about the guy that was worried that juwan couldn't do in-home visits until he allegedly passes some type of test? this finger wag is for him/her, too.
He hosted him on campus, hence it being an unofficial visit. The test thing is very much real. The fretting over the fact that Juwan may not have done it yet is what's ridiculous.

How can it be a prerequisite for someone not already coaching in the NCAA?
1) The most important part of his job is not in-home visits. It’s coaching kids in basketball and mentoring those kids in life.
2) I assume you mean a pre-requisite for his hiring, and the answer is no, unless you have some doubt he could actually pass the test. And given that people who took said test have literally been recently convicted and sentenced for crimes committed as the results of in-home recruiting visits, it must not be a very difficult test, and if you have any doubt that your potential hire could pass it, you don’t even consider offering him the job.
Could you imagine if he did that at the Breslin after a win? Izzo's nipples would explode.
