I hate to be that guy but I need to correct JJ. It's not just for college. He'll be a Wolverine for life. Just ask Brady, Desmond, Woodson, Harbaugh, Denard, Harmon, Carter, Leach, etc.

Based on what he has said in past, his actions on and off field, this isn’t super surprising but hell yeah I love hearing this from the future of this program…but now I’m wondering if this interview/article popped because he was being fuckin tampered with by our enemies. I’m assuming yes

Basically saying , stop fuckin calling my cell you pieces of shit. Go blue

JJ is special. And so is Dylan. I love both these guys

I think Cade was great.  But the Georgia game showed that if we want to be elite, we need an elite playmaker at QB.  Cade is extremely solid and doesn't make many mistakes.  But I just don't see him being elite.

Assuming JJ wins the starting job, I hope Cade stays one more year as you can never have too many good QBs.  But after that, if he wanted to go somewhere he was going to start, he would deserve that.

I'm not writing him off--anything can happen and he may still be the starter this year.  But unless JJ regresses I can't see him being held off another season.  He has the best combo of athleticism and arm that we've had at QB since Drew Henson.

I hope JJ ascends into college QB greatness. He could be good enough to be a serious Heisman contender in a year or two-at the latest.

Keep it going-JJ.

As crazy as NIL and Covid have been (there is literally nothing good about covid so I'm not saying this is worth it lol) they are what makes it possible...or even likely...Cade could stay.

If you are in Cade's shoes there is a hell of a chance to compete your ass off, get a UM degree (or masters) and still have eligibility after this year where you could go to a big time school and start. Oh...and he can make NIL money this year.

As I said before I'd damn near advertise that I want to stay and compete and want to win the job and that I'd stay either way if I can continue to sign NIL opportunities.

Get your degree for free, compete and learn at UM + Make a cool 6 figures and possibly win a championship.

There is much more upside with the extra year Cade has and NIL than there would have been before to stay.

I'm expecting that NcNamara is still going to be the starter. But also that McCarthy is going to have a bigger role. Splitting time is fine. It worked great for Purdue.  It is a relief to know he won't be transferring. The portal is a really easy thing to use now.

For those of us on twitter, is there anything worse or more anyone than that Don Thomas guys' Cade vs JJ thing?  Cade is an absolute legend here and always will be regardless of it JJ takes over next year. I dont know why people like that have to divide the fan base (and presumably the players if they read it).  Curious if others have thoughts.
