wonder if this means we are missing on Gay?  or just covering bases?

Yeah obviously we've seen Metellus there already, I'd expect Hudson to get a look there, along with Glasgow and maybe Uche. I think Furbush will move inside, with the ability for him to move back to SAM against the heavy teams like Wiscy and MSU in order to keep McCray and Bush on the field at the same time.

Peppers is not 6'1", not even close.

He plays way beyond his size, all credit to him, but he's definitely not 6'1".

Remember we used to list Denard as 6'1", and he ended up being 5-10 and change. It's common to list players as taller, heavier, and sometimes even lighter, to throw off opponents.

Judging from photos, he's actually pretty short, somewhere between 5'9-1/2" to 5'11" tops.

They play different positions and one does not exculde the other. This means nothing about other targets, just that we probably have a extra scholarship to use becuase the targets are a much smaler pool now and the staff doesn't appear to want to bank any.

I think I saw Harbaugh is visiting Thorpe on Tuesday also, maybe it's just a "I was in the neighborhood" with brooks. I don't think we are getting Gay, but have we even officially offered Brooks a scolly yet?

Well he's made how many in homes in the past week that are already committed. Also, we have less than a handful of spots left and are actively recruiting at least 9 players. They'll all get in homes I'm sure but we could take 5 max and I'm betting we only take 3-4. I think the in home stat would have too many variables to make any sense of it

Not that JH needs any more incentive but Franklin at this point has won the Big 10, and beaten OSU.   Things JH has yet to do.  And PSU is going to be a conf favorite next year as well, while UM is in "retool" mode.

I'm surprised he is not trying to rip every PSU 'croot out of the class and 2018's early commits as well. #JiveTurkey

Flipped one from GA Southern, the other from BC. They'll be fine.

The only thing Simmons said he didn't like about Michigan is they didn't recruit him hard enough, he wasn't a priority. Hard to change that now. I don't know about Reid, but it's hard to flip long time commits from MSU. They've been indoctrinated with too much hate for us.

If we're looking for flip candidates, maybe Rob Hudson, the giant OT from Walled Lake.
