Well, that is more like it. I think UCONN will take care of Memphis.

Lunardi changing his tune on Michigan is a very good sign. I'm sure he has some committee members giving him some info. and for him to do a complete 180 overnight on Michigan's chances bodes well, imo.

Yeah for everyone saying Lundari is an idiot he is ranked higher than Jerry Palm according to Bracket Matrix

I have no expectations of going far but If we can just get into the tourney It would take the sting out of what was a disappointing season. That win over Indiana Should have done it...Anything that happens after that is Pure Gravy....I just want to see another appearance added on to Michigans all time tourney appearances when they introduce the team at the start of the game...
That it looks like we might do it has turned today from a depressing one to a optomistic one

Seriously though, when I look at bracket matrix I could totally see us getting slotted above the teams currently on the 10 line (South Carolina, WSU, VCU, Pitt).
I heard one of the committee members say yesterday that there were only a few at large spots still up for grabs. That could be really bad for Michigan, or it could mean we were solidly in the field after beating Indiana. I guess we'll find out in a few hours.

If Purdue wins today, we'll have also beaten the BTT champion.
I was hoping Maryland would beat MSU. Then we'd have wins over both BTT finalists.

Our worst loss is to #73. Our second worst loss is to #42. Both on the road, and to strong programs with lots of recent success nationally. On both ends of the resume we are the strongest team on the bubble. Really shouldn't be any doubt about our getting in unless the committee fucks things up.

We are a hard, unconventional team to prepare for with short notice if you are not familiar with us. Along with our streaky 3-point shooting, we are the kind of team that can easily go on a tournament run. I certainly would not want to play us in the early rounds of the NCAAs.

Bilas is the ultimate anti-Michigan troll. He hates us because of Amaker's exit and the Fab Five.
DO NOT ever listen to his opinion on anything Michigan. It's pointless.

I think the talent level at OSU is a little different than at similarly rated RPI schools like IUPU-Fort Wayne, UC Irvine, BYU, and Alabama. Games against them count the same in the math, but I don't think any of those programs are running out an entire lineup full of blue-chip recruits like the Buckeyes do.
I don't think public perception will have anything to do with what actually happens in the room. Maybe that's wishful thinking, but it would be a major fuck-up by the committee if this team was kept out.
