I was actually watching this. She was way behind until the last lap. I told my girlfriend "well, at least she's getting a better education than the other runners." Then she just turned on the jets, passed everyone, and then fought off another girl for the win! Exciting race!

For anyone who has a FloTrack Pro account can see about 2 minutes, including the insane last lap when Jaimie came from last to first and then had to hold on. She was not one of the favorites so this was a huge win for Michigan.

BTW - Katie Rainsberger, the Oregon freshman who finished 4th, is the daughter of Michigan alum and Boston Marathon champion, Lisa Larsen Rainsberger (maiden name Lisa Larsen Weidernbach).
