2nd straight year they lose their returning leading receiver and All-B1G caliber guy on the player's first play of the season. Last year it was Simmie Cobbs.

Alabama's starting RB blocked a punt on Saturday. Just sayin

were a big factor in Alamama's win, IMO. And it's one phase typically a team like Indiana needs to win if they're going to beat a superior team like OSU. Got to give yourself a chance.

yup, just like Penn State vs OSU last year.
Bama only got control of that game via special teams.

It wasn't just Damien Harris on punt block, Bo Scarbrough and Najee Harris were out there as well.

No offense to Harris but is there much dropoff when Scarborough is in the game? Most think Scarborough is better. Indiana doesn't have that kind of depth.

Maybe teams with less depth have to try to get more out of the guys they have.
Are there statistics that show there is a higher rate of injury on ST plays than on offensive plays?

There are bigger swings of yardage on kicks and punts than on the typical play from scrimmage.

Once Indiana took the 21-20 lead, Cobbs had one catch. Unless IU develops a running game or a serious QB threat, there's nothing to worry about.

After watching the OSU-Indiana game I decided that I was going to take Indiana against Michigan. Last year a $10 insurance bet I placed on Iowa paid $250. I have a bad feeling about playing an away game at Indiana the week before Penn State.

Is this important? Where did he go in Draftageddon?
