since the beginning of the 3rd quarter. This game has felt so good.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:17 PM ^
They are following through with another great defensive effort. I love a great "D"
Go Blue!

Beat Ohio
November 19th, 2011 at 3:35 PM ^
Best part about this defense:
They don't commit penalties and they don't make many mistakes. It's amazing what a difference good coaching makes!!!!!!

November 19th, 2011 at 3:28 PM ^
but yeah I don't think it's a premature statement anymore, WE ARE BACK!!!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:29 PM ^
Happiest day of ever.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:30 PM ^
playing well was awesome to see. Domination in all three phases!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:32 PM ^
Don't just "beat Ohio". Destroy them. Take out 8 years of frustration out on them next week.
Go Blue.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:47 PM ^
I'll be glad to beat tham any damn way, but today is how I prefer my teams to win. Win decisively.
November 19th, 2011 at 5:12 PM ^
it would be awesome if we just absolutely blow them out ... oh man I want it so bad
November 19th, 2011 at 3:33 PM ^
We are back, bitches. We are back!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:33 PM ^
.....these feelings.....what are they? Someone explain this tingling feeling....
November 19th, 2011 at 3:33 PM ^
I should just be thrilled with the fact that we have a shot at 10 wins and a BCS bowl in the first year of a new coach after coming off the worst 3 year stretch in Michigan history, but I cannot tell you how much I want - no - need to beat Ohio. Do us proud.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:39 PM ^
*shot at ELEVEN wins
wow
November 19th, 2011 at 3:34 PM ^
No mercy against Ohio next week. Crush their souls.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:35 PM ^
I want crying on the Buckeye sideline, and not just because Bauserman can only throw complete passes to fans.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:34 PM ^
Holy freaking cow that was a beatdown! Our first complete game since we took out UF in the bowl.
And I love all of you very much!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:34 PM ^
Most complete game since...Capital One Bowl against Florida?
I don't think I can think of a better all around peformance in the last four years.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:37 PM ^
First time I can't think of anything to bitch about after a game since that one.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:39 PM ^
Don't worry. Give Michigan fans some time, we'll find something.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:43 PM ^
If Floyd didn't fall down while jamming his reciever on that long TD it would have been even more of a blowout. That's the only thing I can think of...
November 19th, 2011 at 4:24 PM ^
make this win even better. NU got there points off of our mistakes not them dominating for a drive or two.
1. Floyd biff etc. = TD
2. DRob screen yakety = FG. The following drives DRob tucked and ran, YEAH!
3. No catch on KO and botched punt= TD.
We basically played a perfect game less the 3 errors above.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:35 PM ^
And has to be foaming at the mouth for that team from ohio!! Top to bottom amazing game!! Can't wait to be in the stands next week for the win!!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:35 PM ^
Preemptive strike: Fitz was hurt during the MSU game, which is why he was hardly used.
Now that having been said: FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITZ!!!!!!!!! Is he great, or what? I havent seen a juke move that good out of a UM RB in a long time, and he has the patience of Mike Hart. Call me crazy, but we have a shot against Bama next year.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:40 PM ^
One more thing: when you make a coaching upgrade you see, above all else, dramatic improvement during the year, not just before the year. I loved RR's system as much as most people here, but I think the improvement speaks for itself here. WERE BACK!!!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:42 PM ^
But I am crazy right there with you! BEAT BAMA! :D
November 19th, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
Michigan is peaking at the right time; OSU won't even know what hit them next week.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
We're not back until we we perform well next year. That's when Michigan Football will be back. But in the meanwhile , Hoke and co. are doing a great job and I can't wait for the game next week.
p.s. I'm starting to wonder if the B1G is as down as we all thought it was. Especially watching Okie State lose to Iowa State. Bowl games will be interesting to watch
November 19th, 2011 at 3:39 PM ^
BE GONE!

November 19th, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
I hope that after next week the NCAA looks at OSU and says "Jeez... We can't sanction you after that. That was punishment enough."
November 19th, 2011 at 3:58 PM ^
......but then they punish the shit out if them anyways.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:36 PM ^
GO BLUE BABY!!!!! UPVOTES FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:29 PM ^
for the posbang?
November 19th, 2011 at 3:37 PM ^
next week against tOSU then it's simple as this. WE WILL BEAT THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF THEM! GO BLUE!!!! WE ARE BACK!!!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:40 PM ^
I literally got teary-eyed watching this game, knowing that Michigan football is officially back. God, it's great to be a Wolverine.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:40 PM ^
Not only did we dominate, but there must of been 15+ top recruits on hand
November 19th, 2011 at 3:48 PM ^
What will the spread on THE GAME be next week? I'm thinking M -6.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:49 PM ^
It's been a long time since we won on the week before the Ohio game. IIRC the last time this happened we were ranked #2 in the country and had an 11-0 record.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:53 PM ^
How many of us said we'd be happy if Michigan's defense was even average? Today they were excellent against a ranked opponent except for one or two plays.
They showed discipline, they flowed to the ball, they showed passion and guts.
And the offense overcame its few mistakes and scored more than enough points to win.
That's Michigan football! Beat Ohio!
November 19th, 2011 at 3:55 PM ^
Nebraska gave us a lot of gifts. Playing with a short field on a lot of drives is a big advantage.
I still cringe when denard throws the ball.
November 19th, 2011 at 3:56 PM ^
WE TOOK IT!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:09 PM ^
We forced fumbles and turnovers and then captialized!
We put so much pressure Martinez that he made bad decisions!
We overwhelmed them on offense and defense!
The only gifts they gave us were 73 yards of penalties!
November 19th, 2011 at 5:03 PM ^
This is awesome, Sir!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:28 PM ^
That is the difference this year.
The D/ST this game were using techniques that have been coached to them throughout the year.
Sweeping the arm (Speilturd replayed Ryan for example), hats on the ball, swarming etc. have all been taught to the D this year by Hoke/Mattison and Co.
November 19th, 2011 at 5:19 PM ^
Nebraska wasn't handing us the ball, we were hitting them hard enough to force all those fumbles
November 19th, 2011 at 4:01 PM ^
I know it would have been totally meaningless and it was against our second D, but I was so happy we didn't allow that TD at the end. That was huge. Holding Nebraska to 17 is a feat, but doing it with such a lead is even more impressive.
Seeing how well even our second D played made me a lot more hopeful for next year. QW and BWC looked solid on the line, as did a lot of the other back ups. They allowed a good chunk of yards, but clamped down when they needed to.
