It's Thursday. It's a drinking thread.

It's Thursday, and it is basically summer, so it is perfectly acceptable for a drinking thread. So, let's have it -- what's on tap? I'm hanging at a local brewery having a couple cold ones. Currently "Mosaic Moproblems IPA". Cheers!

Drinking some shitty wine that my wife had. Drinking intended specifically for intoxication. I might as well be drinking rubbing alcohol.

M-43, followed by a bottle of Barefoot Cabernet Sauvignon. If I'm still awake, I'll have some Coke Zero Traverse City Whisky Company Bourbon. Why yes, there is no work tomorrow.

Mosaic Pale from Lynnwood.  Deschuetes had a welcome to NC thing at the local bar/bottleshop thingy we have here.  I had a fresh squeezed and then remembered Deschuetes was an AB-InBev acquisition.  Switched back to the local stuff ASAP.

So actual real question.  I'm returning to west Michigan for the first time in a few years for a family reunion this week.  Anyone have hot takes on newer breweries in GR / Kalamazoo / TC areas, because that's where I'll be?   I used to live in Kazoo and work within walking distance from Bells and I've been to Founders and Vivant several times.  I know New Holland well.  What's new and spectacular?

I stopped off at Old Nation Brewing on the way home from visiting my dad in Ann Arbor and had a Boxer, and picked up a 4 pack of Green Stone. If you dig IPAs then you should be paying attention to what they've been doing. Really solid n.e. ipa's.

From Ballast Point brewery. Drinking the local stuff tonight. Got family in town, so I can't get the bud light. Gotta act like I'm not an alcoholic with an internet community that enables me....

Dogfish Head Seaquench Ale. It has an interesting flavor, but it's very good. It's brewed with lime peel, black limes, and sea salt. It is sort of sweet, but it is definitely worth a try!
