It's FINALLY March Madness POSBANG!

Submitted by huntmich on March 19th, 2021 at 8:51 AM

Alright, I know we already have one POSBANG for it being Friday and Sparty losing, but I think this one requires its own special bang, brothers (and sisters). It's been TWO LONG YEARS since I've had this "kid on Christmas morning" feeling I always get the morning before March Madness starts. And let's be real, despite what East Lansing wants to pretend, yesterday was not the tournament. The tournament starts today. This is the best sports weekend of the year, in my opinion, and now, thanks to remote work, I get to enjoy the hell out of all of it from my couch without having to take an hour of PTO.

It's been a long, shitty wait. But thank god it's finally here.

If you're an exec that scheduled at meeting for 2pm this afternoon, you should receive a kick in the junk by Sabastian Janikowski. This is national holiday.

Bangity Bang Bang!!!

Spending a few hours at work, but have mostly spent them reading about MSU's collapse - which you just hate to see - and rockets.  Waiting for Starship to fly again, but will probably have to wait until next week.  The SLS should be cancelled.  None of this will interfere with basketball!

Ahem, Texas Southern, I believe we have a date tomorrow at 3.  Bring flowers to your funeral...

Poeple... not to interject socio-political commentary here, but we can't ignore that the players, including many of our own, have been feeling some kind of way about the NCAA stance on NIL and are will likely be planning some kind of demonstration of this during the tournament.  Whatever your stance on this is, this is a real world issue that the players feel passionately about.

In light of all of this, special recognition is owed the MSU Spartan team who have taken the bold stance of boycotting the NCAA tournament altogether to make their voices heard.
