This will be your thread for snowflakes and hot takes regarding the overall coaching in our game against Iowa.

pfff.... up the thread, you just said its not the coaching, but that it falls on the coaching.

I don't know how its not Gattis.... Shea has clearly regressed and he's not the only problem.

This staff is dog shit.

Iowa lost this game - Michigan did not win it.

Do not fool yourself into believing anything else.

Just watch Oklahoma or OSU - they are legit playing a fundamentally different game than UM is playing.

THAT is “speed in space.”

The abortion Harbaugh and Gattis is rolling out on offense couldn’t beat a high school team.

OSU, ND, MSU, and PSU are going to feast on this offense.

I am so tired of Harbaugh and his dog shit offenses and teams, I just can’t fathom how much longer his defenders can support this shit.

Just go get Riley’s OC already.

The ass-raping OSU is going put on Harbaugh is going to be embarrassing. MSU is gonna score more than UM will.

Harbaugh better buy Don Brown a nice fucking Christmas gift this year because if it weren't for a historic defensive performance today, blood would be in the water and the fan base would have turned

Don Brown- possibly his best day @ UM

Offense- why do we run  C Turner up the gut every time?  He's our fastest RB, and we are wasting his talent.

42-15 harbaughs record vs 44-42 between RR and Hoke? Yeah he might not be Saban but Harbaugh has been a good not excellent coach yet.... It baffles me how some people are in general, we all expect more but we seem to be anxious to throw away all the progress as of it was easy to win championships....

That offense we have seen for 4 out of 5 games will not beat ND, MSU, OSU or PSU and perhaps not even Indiana or Maryland. Not much left to try but to give McCaffrey a start if he is healthy vs Illinois and see if he can jump start this offense.  Give him a game against a lesser opponent to see if he can light a fire for this offense. It seems that every play there is at least one receiver that is open so that tells me the scheme is OK.  Just need to find the guy that can find that one receiver. McCaffrey seem to spark the offense vs Wisconsin until the concussion.  If Mcaffrey is not the answer, this season could get away from Michigan real quick.

Our recent coaches fare relatively well at home.

Hoke:

* 2011: Undefeated

* 2012: Undefeated

* 2013: L 13-17 Nebraska (miserable game); L 41-42 OSU (heartbreaker): combined by just 5 pts

* 2014: It all fell apart here of course...

Harbaugh:

* 2015: Fluke blocked punt vs MSU; only blowout so far against OSU who should've made the CFP

* 2016: Undefeated

* 2017: Loss by a TD in those horrible conditions vs MSU; close game until late in the 4th vs OSU: both games with sub-par QB play (we win both with Shea)

* 2018: Undefeated

* 2019: So far undefeated...

Best thing Harbaugh has going to save his job and give us another 10 win season is that OSU, MSU, and ND are all at home. Perhaps we lose away to PSU and at home to OSU, but win vs MSU and ND at home and then some Florida-based bowl game on New Years to get that 10-3 season once again lol.

I think what needs to be figured out is: Is It Harbaugh? Is It Gattis? Is It Shea?

And I fear it's all of them.

It's Harbaugh because of recruiting holes, game-planning, and seemingly questionable coaching  hires.

It's Gattis because he apparently can't game-plan (see above) and calls a shit game (or if JH is still involved, then that's on Harbaugh too).

It's Shea because he's not good at making reads, he can't survey the field, and he won't keep when he's supposed to (if he's being told not to, then see above).

So, the offense is systemically broken, from the players up to the coaches. What to do?

Well, there's one of those pieces that can change, but would it help given everything else? I don't know. If Dylan isn't successful, then you have made your former #1 more mentally unstable. So it's a risk.

I don't know the answer. At least now our ceiling is higher, with bowl eligibility looking more likely.

Hey, 7-5, is better than 5-7 or 6-6. So there's that.
