Rockfight!
October 5th, 2019 at 3:32 PM ^
Don Brown is the man. That is all.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:33 PM ^
I will fight any Don Brown slanderer today
October 5th, 2019 at 3:36 PM ^
You'll have your hands full at RCMB
October 5th, 2019 at 4:04 PM ^
Except on 3rd and 22 from the 8 when he went press man with no safety over top.
But damn did he recover nicely!
October 5th, 2019 at 5:32 PM ^
I felt like today was the first time he switched up and did something different. The fake blitz dropping into zone turned the game. It was like he learned from a mistake. It was a great change from what we normally do. It destroyed Iowa.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
I promise you that this was not the first time we've shown pressure and dropped into a zone even this year never mind his time at Michigan.
October 5th, 2019 at 6:38 PM ^
It seemed like it was his base at the end of the game. I don't remember him ever doing it so much.
October 5th, 2019 at 7:09 PM ^
Gave up a 3rd and 15 after that.
October 6th, 2019 at 8:33 AM ^
Worst play call of the game. It switched the field. We were about to win comfortably.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:32 PM ^
This was a vintage Hoke performance. Stout D and total shit out of the offesne. Harbaugh is not the guy for Michigan. Brown really earned his money though. I think he’s the only non-position coach who’s worth anything.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:33 PM ^
Hot-take Hall of Famer here
October 5th, 2019 at 3:34 PM ^
This is the place - isn’t it?
October 5th, 2019 at 3:38 PM ^
It certainly is, whinge away! This game wasn’t Hoke or RR, a 10-3 win over Iowa is vintage Bo. He would be proud.
October 5th, 2019 at 8:17 PM ^
That was my thought during the game - classic Bo
October 5th, 2019 at 8:39 PM ^
Vintage Bo in the 70's was 63-0.
October 6th, 2019 at 9:05 AM ^
This was Bo 80s style
October 5th, 2019 at 3:35 PM ^
lmao vintage Hoke would've been to be down 10-3 at halftime only to lose the game 31-6. I swear some people don't remember that era.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:37 PM ^
Hike is twice the coach of harbaugh
October 5th, 2019 at 3:52 PM ^
He was twice the size, but that’s really the only comparison.
October 5th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
Hoke is Fred Flintstone.
Yaba daba do.
October 5th, 2019 at 7:29 PM ^
Hi Brady!
October 5th, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
Hike! He did Hike here from California to Michigan!
October 5th, 2019 at 3:42 PM ^
I agree, hoke probability loses this game. However, if you claim “slightly better than hoke” is what you thought year 5 of Harbaugh would be, then you’re full of it!
October 5th, 2019 at 11:33 PM ^
Quit drinking and go to bed.
October 5th, 2019 at 11:35 PM ^
Go sit in the corner.
October 6th, 2019 at 1:44 AM ^
Considering Hoke didn’t get a year 5 because he won 5 games in year 4 and let a clearly concussed Shane Morris back onto the field, I’m gonna have to disagree with the “slightly better” comment.
October 6th, 2019 at 5:20 AM ^
You're reassigning Dave Brandon's performance to Brady Hoke. Jim Harbaugh is the better coach first because he didn't choose to work for the great self-promoter.
October 6th, 2019 at 7:15 AM ^
Come on man. Things are downright terrible right now but "slightly better than Hoke"? You're out of your freaking mind.
October 6th, 2019 at 8:38 AM ^
I know. What was I thinking? Hoke won 11 games!
October 5th, 2019 at 6:35 PM ^
Hoke wasnt the BUT I swear some people forget what he was dealing with in year 3. You though Harbaughs class he walked into was bad, the one Hoke walked into from RichRod... WOOF
October 5th, 2019 at 3:36 PM ^
Exactly. Bring back Rodriguez. He has fire and can bring an offence that can win the Big.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:59 PM ^
Yeah he sure could pile up the points against Delaware State
October 5th, 2019 at 6:57 PM ^
"Bring back Rich Rod"
That's like taking up smoking after being cured of cancer.
October 5th, 2019 at 10:35 PM ^
Celebrating getting off crack by popping a few oxy's.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:42 PM ^
Is it Harbaugh's fault that our offensive playcalling and QB play was complete trash?
I thought we hired a guy to coach those kinds of things...
October 5th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
Gattis is being hand cuffed by Shea and Harbaugh won’t bench him. Look at the offense against MTSU and now look at it and tell me that Gattis is calling those 3 yard run plays.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
Yes. He’s the head coach. He made the call, Gattis appears to have been a poor choice. But Harbaugh is in charge. And, more to the point, he’s a QB guy that ruins QBs and QB is the #1 problem with the offense.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:48 PM ^
...and the problem here with the inability to develop or choose the correct QB is that this snowballs and exacts a toll on both the team and individual players. Your QB simply cannot be allowed to play like this game after game. Five games in the coaches must swallow their pride, take off the rose-colored glasses of "potential" and give the second guy a chance to prove he can play under live fire. Clearly what they are assessing in practice is not translating to the field.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:16 PM ^
If D-Caff doesn't get hurt he would have been the starter that 2 weeks. With that, he'll start next week
October 5th, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
If you think Gattis is the problem you don’t know shit about football. The OL sucks and the QB sucks. It is tough do anything without good like play and good QB play. We have neither.
October 5th, 2019 at 10:39 PM ^
OL sucks? Agreed. Have they put out an APB for Ed Warriner?
October 5th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
It's Harbaugh's fault the o line is trash. They can't block anyone. Patterson is a bum and that's on Harbaugh too. He won't pull him. The rbs can't elude anyone. Bad offense all around.
Gattis is not alone, but what can you do when your o line is useless??
October 5th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
OL is doing decent this game. Shea has ample time to throw.
October 5th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
Yes.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:01 PM ^
The QB play has been bad for a while now. That suggests the problem isn't just Patterson.
October 5th, 2019 at 5:17 PM ^
Didn't we have issues with Ruddock only seeing half the field as well?
October 5th, 2019 at 4:13 PM ^
Yeah. Actually it is his fault
October 5th, 2019 at 9:59 PM ^
So Coach Harbaugh replaces his OC every year or 2, offense is still rather inept but it isnt his fault or responsibility? At some point the problem isnt them, whomever that may be, the problem is the guy in the big office.
We brought Harbaugh to Ann Arbor in hope of being a consistent national power and now 5 years in we are consistently sold the idea that occasionally beating a marginal BigTen power is good returns on the investment.
October 5th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
Yea! Lets change coaches again. Thats a new idea we’ve never tried before.
