Indy Hotel Rooms

I just got a room on Priceline for under $500 (For two nights).  Also when checking for rooms, selecting Friday - Sunday gives you much better rates and many more options.  As for tickets they are coming down in price slowly.

Thanks for the heads up.  Just scored a room half a mile from Lucas Oil using my Bonvoy points.

Sometimes Marriott won’t allow you to use Bonvoy points to book a single night on a high volume day but they will allow you to book that same blacked-out night if you book it in a series of nights. If they do, you can game the Bonvoy system (if you have enough points) by booking that night as part of a series of nights and then call the Bonvoy 800 number the next day and cancel the nights you don’t want.
I have done this many times to book a night in NYC on Thanksgiving Eve at the Marriott Marquis, among other places. It’s worth a shot trying and may depend on how high your status is. 

The Marriott I’m at is about 25 minutes from the stadium got it for 265 

Moving points over from ultimate rewards or American Express to a hotel chain and then using points had to be the way to go. Very smart.

There are over 6k rooms connected to the convention center alone. I bet rooms open up en mass tomorrow as the cancellation deadlines start to hit.

I live in Indy and I would gladly sleep on my floor and offer a bed in my house in exchange for a ticket.
