Impacts of Transfers & Film Study-Stu Douglass
Great read by Stu Douglass on the impact transfers may/may not have on game planning for teams that they used to play for (quotes from Albrecht & Bielfeldt) and how crazy Beilein is with film study...check it out!
i'm sure you searched for it, but what are the odds a week old article hasn't been posted
Yep, the last UV... Nonetheless, it's situational awareness. You wanna post here, you better know what the hell you're talking about or you're going to get called out and negged to oblivion!!
Good luck, OP...
I remembered reading it; I assumed it was the board since thats where most content seems to come from lately
I vaguely remember him talking about the AA city board but if you're ignoring his posts, then you're missing out.
You're part of the problem then.
I hadn't seen your reply to the above post, or I wouldn't have commented. I see what you're saying, and can't really disagree now.
Whether or not it was already posted isn't what matters.
What matters is you cared enough to comment on it.
I actually don't mind when people post something Brian linked to. It also gives people a chance to add comments on that particular topic, which can be insightful (sometimes). But that's just me...
Yes, it has already been linked, but it was a good article worth discussion. I thought that was pretty well-written, and I was impressed by how well Stu could support his arguments. It was nice to be reminded that Coach B was 3-1 vs those transfer players (4-2 including Dakich). This was a good line:
“Nowhere else in the world of high-level basketball does this come up. You will never hear an NBA coach talk about the unfairness of a former player taking his knowledge to another team.”
Brian had already talked about how coach B was breaking down drill film based on this article. Just another reminder that we have an amazing coach.
in the G-League. Smotrycz appears to be playing in Argentina.
Wasn't that comment posted by several others a couple minutes ago?
I feel that the players could probably add something to the coach's breakdown, but managerial arogance prevents the coach from even asking.
to hear from Stu Douglass
Go Blue.
Im gonna need to stew on this one for a bit.
