How many people do you think were in the stadium?

They announced 57,418 but I think there was anywhere from 60,000 to 70,000. The stadium holds 110,000 and both sidelines and the north endzone were full except for the top 20 rows of the north endzone. The south endzone was decently filled up too.

But the 57k seemed fishy to me when they announced it. There was way too much exposed bench in Section 25 where I was. I guess 35% occupancy and less than 50,000, say 46,000. Numbers were hyped by PR people.

Are in town and we are getting Michigan recruits again and fielding a great team.  No need to fake the attendance to keep the streak going.  We will fill the Big House all the way to the National Championshp!  Can't wait to travel back to Ann Arbor for at least one game this season.  MSU and or OSU?

Even in the "packed" sections everyone was taking up like two seats and leaving a gap between themselves and the next person. No way even the most crowded sections were more than two thirds full.

Being there yesterday, I thought it looked slightly less than the first Harbaugh spring game from two years ago. But who can say for sure when the people are as spread out as they are? I'm more bummed over the fact that I thought it was supposed to be cloudy yesterday so I didn't wear sunblock. Now my face looks like a giant tomato.
