Help Finding A Tailgate For The Notre Dame Game
I for one cannot WAIT for this season to start! My wife and I will be attending the ND game (first time @ ND) and we are in need of some help with game-day festivities. Can anyone give guidance on how to find a Michigan tailgate? I've been a Michigan fan all my life (grew up in Taylor) but I am not an alumnus. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any tips on getting tickets to this game for cheap? I am new to this, but I am really hoping to go.

I live in a South Bend. What kind of tailgate are you looking to do? I usually go to the library lot which is a lot calmer. The Joyce lot is where most people go and all of the excitement happens. Passes for those lots are currently outrageous.

My wife and I are alumni and attending with my brother and parents. We're looking for a tailgate, too, since it sounds like it's hundreds of dollars to tailgate in the main area. I've never been there but that makes no sense to me. Anyone have experience there?
The tailgating isn’t horrible there. Not the best. Passes for lots are crazy. ND fans are already starting the crap talking so I imagine there fans will be pretty crappy that weekend.
I will have a large group at White Field. $30 a car to get in. Nice little walk for all of guests, but easy to get in and out. We are not a tame group. It's a party, not wine and and cheese.

Do you need a pass for this lot, or first come first serve?
If that is where a large group will be, I will bring my group of 6 with our lawn games food and booze!

Just follow the maize, but honestly I often enjoy just walking around and hanging out with opposing fans as well. A little good-natured ribbing is hilarious provided you had a few game-day beverages
Place is awful for tailgates. I will be attending also which will be my 3rd time. It’s hard to get in and out of the areas around the stadium. Last night game my buddy and I ended up parking in the woods and walking to the lot our other buddies were at.

I had that shirt too, but on the back it says "Irish swallows!" Yeah, a little juvenile, but that was 12 years ago.
