He's gone. With the other issues OSU's Athletic Department is having, to just sweep it under the rug would leave the school looking like they aren't serious about doing the right thing. It's also the type of thing that, if taken lightly by the school, would be brought up regularly by some opponents and their fan bases, as well as the Fourth Estate. I can just see the signs in the background on Game Day whenever OSU plays a big game on the road. If the school wants to look like they're not as dirty as Urban, they need to dump him...soon.

Oof. I'm on the fence... I think status quo what's out there publicly, he stays and Gene gone. HOWEVER.... what'll come out next, and I think the outcome will be quite different . I am glad that as the season approaches, the board threads complaining about the lack of new topics will slowly be replaced by these incredibly dumb board topics.
Again, it was certainly not my intent. Otherwise I wouldn't have felt sick to my stomach as soon as I saw what happened. I apologize to all who were/are rightfully pissed about it.
