On MSU in general: "Common thread would be very competitive and intense." Harbaugh not saying much today.
On preparing for trick plays: "Meeting time and practice time set aside to defend" them.
On last year's pregame incident: "That's been addressed pretty thoroughly. There's a rule that 2 hours before the game, players cannot be on the field before 2 hours. If there are any pregame traditions, those take place before the 2 hour mark -- one team cannot supersede that. It's been addressed."
"We're on alert. Heightened intensity in our preparation. Understand that it's got to be at its highest level."

Lol I love how low-key Harbaugh plays his hatred for MSU, he doesn't need a soundbite in the media like marky d to prove it. There is no doubt in my mind he hates them more than OSU. The guy broke his arm diving for a loose ball vs MSU in the 80s

Harbaugh played in this game, and he knows that while State always brings the wood, they are also by far the biggest cheap shot artists, eye-gougers, and nut-grabbers Michigan plays. You have to set the tone right away that you are out to kick ass from the opening whistle. None of this choir boy, we're-above-it-all bullshit that began to fester under Hoke. Bring the dawg, Michigan, and you'll be alright.

If there was any doubt in anybody's mind regarding Michigan's mentality on the rivalry, last year answered it. Watching Devin Bush cleat up the logo, DPJ break out the Paul Bunyan pose, Chase run around Spartan Stadium hoisting Paul Bunyan, and then Harbaugh explicitly calling out Dantonio in the postgame presser for his bullshit was probably one of the most cathartic afternoons of Michigan Football I've ever had. Such a dramatic turnaround from the tent stake fiasco you alluded to under Hoke

Probably just means the normal making sure he's ready if an injury occurs.
Fun to speculate it means he's doing nothing but prepping for OSU. That would obviously bad if he had to come in for an injury in either of the next two weeks, but I'm all for a damn the torpedos approach when it comes to OSU at this point of the season.
