Harbaugh Assistant rumors

Submitted by Bo Schemheckler on

Has anyone heard any new rumors about potential assistants? It seems like Durkin is a given and maybe Roman is as well but I haven't heard anything else about potential assistants. I don't use the twitter or pay for sites so if those who do could let me know any rumors or announcements I would appreciate it

Get ready for a dump truck of snark. I'll resist and tell you that the very second any new rumors are out there will be a topic about it posted on the board.

of the current college coaches headed to Michigan and who they were recruiting. We might land a 5* that hasn't been discussed. Besides Durkin and Marrow, anyone else I should look at? (I have the thread from a few days ago discussing the coaches). Is this worth a Diary post?

Why wait? I'm all for respecting current players and bowl game prep etc.. but it's not like he's being retained by the new staff. There's no real loyalty here except to current commits. And frankly, with only 6 recruits right now, we could use a jump start on our competition.

I have a feeling with Harbaugh at the helm, all your recruits are belong to us within no time!

After doing some of my own research on Durkin I think he would be a huge get and something that I personally want to see happen. Btw there is so much smoke I would be amazed if it did not happen.

Anyway, if Lance Anderson is also on board as Co-DC awesome. DC recruiter for the south and a DC recuiter for the west coast. My concern is how would Co-DC work and why each guy would take what appears to be a step down or lateral move at best? Seems too good to be true I guess

HARBAUGH! STAFF!

All the profiles of the assistants have been completely wiped from MGoBlue. They were up until Harbaugh became officially officially official.

Hoping Manning stays for recruiting.

I remember a thread posted on here about a thread on scout saying Wheatley, Sr. as the RBs coach with Manning and Mattison staying on as assistants.

I like Manning, and always support my fellow Saginaw natives. But I would not keep a guy just because he recruits well. Harbaugh won't have any trouble recruiting. Getting the best position coaches should be the first priority.
