In boot camp you could go to either 1 of 2 differant church services on sunday morning. If you chose not to you shined your boots and brass then if you had change you could buy a sunday paper. I was lucky enough to be in boot camp part of the football season and would get a paper and right away grab the sports and see how M did. It really was all I looked forward to all week. Thanks U of M football.

GO BLUE. Semper Fidelis. I made my kids watch a PBS documentary on Chosin last night. As to anyone complaining about Marines mostly just saying hello, or receiving a simple thank you from somebody... .. you don't get it. But, hey it's a free country. Here's to 241 and 2400 more.

1st Battalion, 2nd Marines, 2nd Marine Division. Camp Lejeune NC and points south, including Gitmo. Happy Birthday and Semper Fi to all my fellow Marines.
