indiana 34    Michigan 24

sadly its going to be a few weeks before we adjust to simply not having man corners on the roster or coaching to teach the concept to our youmg corners effectively. also, i expect no crossing routes, down field throws, or outside runs/screens because they worked too well week one.

Indiana 36 Michigan 13 this is the year they finally walk through that door I think.  Also away game as an underdog is pretty much a guaranteed loss for Jim Harbaugh.

M - 24

IU - 21

All logic suggests IU should win this game. They're at home, 2-0, have a huge win over PSU, and the blueprint to beat Michigan is very, very simple as MSU demonstrated.

But I can't ignore the fact that Michigan hasn't lost to IU since before I was born. Michigan should've lost multiple times to IU just within the last 7-8 years alone, but they haven't. They seem to always make just enough plays to win, or IU makes a bonehead decision at the worst time and blows the game. We are to IU what OSU is to us. A massive mental hurdle that they just can't seem to overcome no matter what they do.

Logic suggests IU should win, but I'm in the camp that until IU proves it can actually beat Michigan, I will assume Michigan finds some stupid, chaos-induced way to win. It will be close. It will be fluky. It will be stupid. It will be textbook Michigan-Indiana.

Those two losses PSU took from IU have happened in the last 5-6 years, including this year, so its recent history. IU hasn't beaten Michigan once since 1987. No one on IU's roster was even alive when that happened. It does make a difference. How much is certainly a matter for debate, but it does make a difference in the mental aspect of the game.

I guarantee you it does when Michigan players line up opposite OSU players.

I think Michigan will play with an actual game plan and a sense of purpose this week.  I really hope Harbaugh was stung personally by all the vitriol and fallout from last weeks game, because if he wasn't...

IU 30

Theres just no coming back from last week. I don’t think M has the chops to hang with IU at the CB and interior DL level. M will play hard to avenge their loss, but will come up short...sigh
