Greensboro, N.C. Game Watching Venues?
I will be in Greensboro, North Carolina this weekend for my sisters wedding on Sunday. I've never been to the area before and am looking for a place to watch the game with other Michigan fans. Are there any recommendations? I checked the alumni watch parties website and came up with -
U of M Piedmont Spirit Group
Flipflop's Beach Bar and Grill, 106-B College Road, Greensboro, NC 27410
Can anyone confirm this? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If it's on the AAUM watch party site, you can bank on them being there.

I've never had to use it before to try and find a place to watch the game. Appreciate the feedback.

If it's on the Internet, it must be true. They can't put anything on the Internet that isn't true.

if you have the time, there could be more options open to you in Chapel Hill. Possibly more alum or better places to watch the game. Downtown Chapel Hill is a pretty cool area.

The Triangle alumni club meets at Carolina Ale House in Brier Creek (Raleigh/Durham) and Charlotte meets at Tavern on the Tracks on the south end. Both are very good establishments for game watching.

Thanks! I'm actually going to be down there for Utah and was going to try and find a Raleigh watch party.

It's a new location for this year, so we're still growing into it a little bit. The venue is supposedly upfitting with nicer (bigger) TVs specifically for us, soon. We're not a big group (there just aren't as many alums/fans in the Triad area as there are in the RDU/Charlotte areas), but we did have big Quinton Washington there watching the App State game a few weeks back.
We average about 15-20 total people, on a game to game basis.

Hey, I really appreciate the feedback. Even it was 3 or 4 fans, that'd be great. I just want to go somewhere, I know I can catch the game and be surrounded by some good like minded people.

Sweet, I moved to Winston-Salem in June. I'll have to stop there for the game!

That's cool. Do you like the area?

It took some time to acclimate. A lot of old money and good 'ole boys. Not nearly as young of a scene as Charlotte, but my wife and I have found ways to enjoy it. Now that we're expecting, we're kinda glad we're here instead of Charlotte.

Not sure if they will have the game on, but maybe stop in for lunch and a couple good craft beers at Natty Greene's. The place is great.

You can always be safe and try Buffalo Wild Wings which is straight down Wendover ave in the Palladium shopping center.
