Great Michigan sports photos
There are iconic Michigan sports photos that everyone knows: Desmond’s Heisman pose, Woodson with a rose in his mouth, Rumeal at the FT line in OT, Hassan’s hurdle and many others. These are iconic. However, there are other great photos that didn’t reach that level. Maybe they happened in a game that didn’t have the importance of a championship. Or maybe they were overshadowed by another iconic photo from the same game.
Here are 2 of my favorites:
This one I call Little Brother. Mork was down an insurmountable amount with little time left and, being Mork, he went for 2, which resulted in a fumble and 98-yard return for Jabrill.
Tripp Wellborn and the late Vada Murray attempting to block a FG against OSU. Man could those guys sky! I thought that was how blocked FGs were supposed to happen.
So what are your favorite underappreciated Michigan photos, from any sport?
So many greats. I always liked that one.

I just KNEW if I scrolled far enough I'd find this (or otherwise post it myself).
Thanks Don!
Those two photos you posted just make me smile. Great stuff.
