The bad boys were in your face dirty and admitted it. There was nothing covert or sneaky about it, and they'd happily take on any and all challengers if you had the balls to go toe to toe. Grayson is a soft, anemic little punk who practices guerrila warfare style dirty play. He won't admit he's dirty, is scared to take on other players head on and does it out of misguided emotion / lack of impulse control rather than strategy. Dirty is dirty, but when you can't man up and own up to your dirty style, it adds an extra level of shame to it that makes it unforgiveable.

What is he doing grabbing the guy's arm and falling down?  He pinned the arm underneath and landed with his weight on it, could have seriously hurt that Louisville player.  On top of it, he's flailing around and faking for the ref, as if he's being fouled.  This dumb ass acting like he was hit in the face before he's actually slapped in the face a moment later.  It's so justice.

Mmmm Hmmm

Imagine that, a player is judged by their own past actions.

But the Duke writer is probably right that it is wrong to evaluate current behavior based on somebody's history. So, of course, next time Coach K gets accused of failing to discipline his players, the Duke writer won't bring up Coach K's (perceived) squeaky clean history. Because that wouldn't be fair...

he's gonna end up costing his team an important game just like draymond in the finals.

Grayson could've dislocated The Louisville players shoulder a-la Kevin Love with a move like that. Clearly this guy is NOT going to stop until some very severe discipline comes his way.

Like another one game suspension.

I freely admit to standing up and clapping when I saw that highlight - Grayson Allen pretty much deserves being the traget of some good old-fashioned in-game retribution just to remind him that you can't be a douche with impunity in any sport, let alone basketball. Hopefully, that shuts him up for a while.

Getting slapped is totally perfect for him. Tired of hearing about him. He's gotta grow up and win basketball games the right way. But what else can you expect from the Duke Blue Devils?

Its been mentioned earlier in this thread but him getting slapped after -that- play is universal justice. Drags a player to the ground, dangerously, by his arm then flails around faking that the Louisville player hit him in the face... then promptly gets hit in the face seconds later after faking it.

I'll be honest, I hope this is the start of things to come for opponents of Allen. Start smacking this guy around.

he is a marked player.

refs will miss a lot of physicality directed toward him.

when he reacts- i fear some one will take him out in a serious manner.

something like kermit washington destroying Rudy T.

This looks like nothing. You could see it as intentional, or you could see it as an accident.  the louisville player looks back, but maybe he's trying to avoid hitting Allen. To me you could complain as much about Allen hooking the player's arm on the way down, preventing either of them from bracing for their falls. But really, both are minor.  The only reason this is even highlighted is that Duke is a bunch of whiners and they have the king of whining in Grayson.

I recall an incident several years back where a certain, annoying Notre Dame quarterback was punched in the face by a patron. I'm of the thinking that the same thing needs to happen with mr Allen, If anything, just to wipe that pompous smirk off his face.
