Got my Anderson letter from Schlissel
Received a letter from UofM yesterday asking if I had any experience with Anderson while I was in Ann Arbor as a student.
Fortunately I never met the perv. My only experiences with the UofM medical system was for a laceration the last day of classes my freshman year (no more information forthcoming about that) and had some inflammation under my knee cap my senior year. Too much running/jogging in ROTC.
Anybody else receive the letter?
Got the email last week.
I am kind of curious if I ever met him. I don't know the name of any UHS doctor that I saw, though. Has anybody requested their medical records to check?

:-) nope, but I was rat-faced drunk.
Oof. I tore my ACL a few years ago the first time I ever blacked out drinking. Wish I had a better story. Wish I had my ACL even more!

Yeah, got it last week. Only trip to health circus was for a broken toe so no crossing of paths with that guy.
I got mine last week. Fortunately I never had any contact with him either.
Received undated letter last week. Contacted a handful of friends but none received it. I did go to the Health Service a couple of times in late 1960"s.
I got the letter a few days ago. I never met him, as far as I know.

It is not a take on the letter itself. It is a take on everybody announcing whether or not they received the letter. This is just a very odd thread in general. I would never intend to make light of the victims.
So is it not right to confirm others received the letter or email? Shows me Michigan is taking this seriously and isn't burying this like PSU and MSU did.

Rather unremarkable. One broken bone, one laceration requiring stitches, 3 hernia fixed 6 weeks ago today (2 inguinal, 1 umbilical), temporary inflammation under the one knee cap and a couple of ankle sprains. Not bad for 59 years of abusing my body.
I had no idea U of M had a Monkey Rodeo team back then.
When and why was the sport discontinued? And please tell us that you beat Ohio State...

Yes, got the letter in the mail on Friday. In 4 years, I never once visited the health center.
Got my Schlissel email last week as well. I also got an email from Warde Manual as well earlier this past spring. It is redundant. Who's next? Maybe the Regents?
I had no issues in my preseason exam on the Cross Country nor did any of my teammates back in the day. I hadn't heard about any quite talk years later about these issues as well.
I got one but never attended UM. They must have confused me with someone else.
I got a similar letter a while ago. I actually was examined by Anderson during Spring ball. Thankfully, nothing happened out of the ordinary.
