UW has a good defense. Their offense is garbage, so I get the conservative game plan. Let's see what happens in the second half, but the goal is to win the game and until UW puts a threat into them, I'm good with grinding the ball on the ground and getting this over before midnight.

Rushing for 300 yards, controlling the clock, and dominating the LOS? Yes, thats often an excellent way to win all sorts of games. Desr Lord the cult of spread around here can become a caricature of itself.

only morons were booing before halftime. we had the ball with barely a minute left inside our 20. no reason to do anything risky there and make a mistake and allow wash to get into the game. may as well get the 2H kick and start from the 25 with no time constraints...and it worked.

There will always be apologists for whatever obviously negative thing is happening on the field. Of course they’ll forget all about that sunshine when a real team shreds that secondary and they try to overcome a 2 TD deficit running counters and throwing screen passes.

Why would you ever, as a coach, TRY to make one player win the game for you when you are winning as a team?

Perhaps next week, if they bring the same intensity and focus, they will have a chance to open up the passing game more.

I get being concerned, but saying Harbaugh NEEDS to put the game in McNamara’s hands—why? If we have two dominant RBs and a strong line, establish them. As Corum said, the offensive line was waiting for this game after UW talked about stopping the run game.

Losing Bell, McNamara need to get comfy with Wilson—and Wilson needs to step up and learn to adjust to the ball.

That's the thing that that was the strangest to me about this game. Michigan has great WRs. Throw the ball to them. I mean, why did the coaching staff even want Daylen Baldwin to come here? And why would Daylen Baldwin even want to stay here?
