Fun MBB write up on The Ringer
Not worth it's own thread, but CBS Sports Friday grades gave us an A:

The dream run of 2017 continues for Michigan, from a plane crash to a Big Ten conference title and now a win in the best game of the tournament to this point. The best 3-point shooting teams in the country average 11 or 12 made field goals from long range per game, and the Wolverines just dropped 16 (setting a new school record) on Oklahoma State to edge out a one-point win. Derrick Walton Jr. is the leading the way, Michigan’s won six in a row and now the popular Cinderella pick is one win away from making the Sweet 16.
Rick Pitino on facing Michigan: "We're playing the Golden State Warriors on Sunday." https://t.co/3Y7S09ClYB

HYPERBOLE - exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally...
Common tactic when you are about to lose: Build up your enemy.
We are in Pitino's head.
“I over-monitor my staff” when responding to the NCAA's claim that he failed to monitor his assistant who provided drugs and hookers to recruits.
It's funny how lots of people hate John Calipari and he's suspected of foul play (nothing has ever stuck). But it's Rick Pitino who we know cheated on his wife in a restaurant bathroom, paid said woman 3k to supposedly get an abortion, and failed to monitor drugs/hookers on campus.
It's a shame that someone like John Beilein had to lose a championship to this shithead.
Memphis and UMass were hit with violations stemming from Calipari's time there. They're both dirty.

Paying players is not even remotely the same as the shit Pitino did.
ESPN repeatidly reports the Golden State Warriors havent lost two straight home games in over two years and havent lost three games in a row in almost three.
Now I know I'm old but I seem to remember the dubs doing both.....just last June.
Edit - wrong thread. Too much afternoon beer.
