Not voluntarily though. I've had better times. Which is part of the reason for it, I guess.

Cocaine is mostly harmless if you don't use it too often. My personal rules are not more than twice per month and only one night at a time, never two days in a row.
I only did PCP once, and it was on accident (laced weed). Never again.
I don't do needles, so no heroin for me.
Also, I never understood junkies until I had a morphine drip after having a surgery. It was one of the best nights of my life. I was lying in bed, watching the Pistons in the finals, and I thought to myself that I could be lying in a puddle of my own piss and vomit on a public street, and I wouldn't mind as long as the morphine kept coming.
You can mix weed with anything.
True about the cocaine ..two nights max, concerts or something like that and only good blow.
Alcohol is by far the worst overall in terms of how it poisons the body and now that edible weed is so prevalent, those who didn't want to smoke or inhale smoke can now more easily use MJ.

Prescription painkillers are the true problem in America today - opiods. Completely healthy athletes prescribed them become horribly addicted very quickly.

Wow, I guess I've seen friends have some pretty different experiences with cocaine.
You never know what kind of user you're going to be until you start using.
If you already have an addictive personality, I don't recommend it. But I also wouldn't recommend alcohol to those types of people either.
I didn't drink in all of January, May, and June. Once February 1 hit, I had no problem having a beer. But following the latest ride on the wagon, I thought long and hard before having another one. I did, but it wasn't without a little internal battle.
Turning 50 has done something to my brain. I've changed to a mostly vege based diet, quit chewing, take 2 hour walks, and cut way down on alcohol. Change is hard.
It beats dropping dead. That's the ultimate change.
I played dead once.
Caught a squirrel.
use their internet money for food. I know, it would be a tough choice for me too.

Good morning - happy ND Hangover day!
it's not my head that hurts.
Well, this time around, I sort of have a reason to posbang - tomorrow happens to be my birthday. Although I don't really celebrate them formally any more because at this point they tend to remind me that I am definitely not as young as I once was, it is fun to get little gifts from the family all the same. This coming Wednesday, my daughter turns ten as well, so we've got yet another celebration to look forward to - except this one, well, she expects something substantial this time. It's an achievement to get to double digits, right?
It is definitely an achievement. My daughter is 10 and I'm surprised we didn't kill her by now.
I just had a conversation with my son about how an eye for an eye just leaves the world blind...
But he wasn't such a great guy.
That said, when Chris Rock talks about ghandi getting divorced I laugh every time
