I do like the manners being displayed in this game. It's almost as if Washington has said on these drives, "No, we don't know if we can do this. Why don't you see if you can give it a go?". UCLA has said, "Gee, thanks!" on both occasions. 14-0 Bruins rather early here.

Columbia just choked away the last two minutes. How can you let time expire two possessions in a row without getting a shot off?

NFL Pedigree, young, energetic, tough, creative. Would have been an excellent fit here.

Thus far, I believe UCLA has 38 rushing attempts at almost 5 yards per carry. I don't know why precisely, but that sounds....nice.....somehow. Overall, UCLA is advancing at about a 5.78 yards per play pace. Washington is actually moving slightly faster from a tempo-free standpoint.

Any chance Washington cans Sarkisian? He was the OC/QB coach at USC before going to Washington...

seeing Rick Nieuheisel's kid giving play signals on the UCLA sideline.
I like how UCLA plays, I think Mora will have them threatening for the playoffs in a year or two.
