for his first, most current and every TD in between but hopefully not his last.

It would be really nice to see Denard crack off a 45 yarder for a touch tomorrow.

Hope it happens...

We love Denard; but lets not forgot about the 20something other seniors on this team.  I definitely understand the infatuation with Denard Robinson, and I'm right there with you.  Context removed (RichRod, resurgence under Hoke, adversity, leadership, etc...) he hasn't been that much more impressive than a Chad Henne, for example.

What I'm saying is that we need to remember to give some shine to Floyd (wow, improvement), Demens, Roh, Campbell, Roundtree, B. Moore, Omameh, etc... each of whom has been just as instrumental in our success.  Last year's class had some guys who were just as important as well.

I understand that he's a very memorable player.  I understand that hes a tremendous role model and Michigan man.  I just want to give us a little reality check so we don't make him a false God that stands above his teammates.

[This post probably belongs in one of the more...passionate... Denard threads, but I wanted to place it in a newer post.  Not a direct response to the OP]

I agree that we should in no way discount the contributions each and every senior has made to this team. And while Denard's individual achievements are significant, there are others who came before him and there will likely be players to come that turnout similarly impressive numbers. But Denard is special. You can't remove the context, because the story of Denard and the trajectory of this team over the past few years cannot be isolated. The way those plot lines converge defines Denard's value to this team and its legacy. This rare quality is tough to describe, but Denard's got it. And it goes well beyond: he stayed, he's really fast, he doesn't tie his shoes, he smiles.

Of the Denard slobbering, my god man! How many effing threads do we need about him this week? Give it a rest

I'm sure someone will respond with  "well, you didn't have to read it and comment if it bugs you so much", if that's what you're thinking than I don't know what to tell ya.
