Kroger alkaline water tonight. Had several bulleit old fashioneds last night watching the Packers.

I avoided this site and the podcast this week for obvious reasons. After reading that indiana preview post I do not regret my decision. Looks like lots of extra rash takes for a flukey 3 point loss without fans present.

Were going to beat a top 15 team on the road tomorrow. Stay positive and keep the faith! Forever go blue.

1920 is great. I found the 1897 at my local liquor store (not too far from you). Old forrester might be my favorite distillery.

I guess I dont know for sure if the Rockford game was livestreamed. I think now that it is playoffs, all livestreams go through the nhsfb website and it costs $10. Unfortunately, my team lost last week, so I am trying to figure out the livestream situation. Didn't watch any games tonight as I always promise my bride a non-football friday evening immediately whenever my season ends.

Voodoo Ranger Higher Plane IPA.  Not a very strong tasting IPA, rather citrusy, but 8.5% ABV.  Not bad.  Gotta love the art on the can.  Reminds me of Grateful Dead or Iron Maiden album cover art.

A few sweetwater 420s. Popular in the south, but we can’t get them in Michigan or the Midwest, unfortunately.

On another note, how can nc state have almost 40 points vs Miami in the 3rd quarter, but we can barely get to 20 vs MSU?

I'm a Buckeye fan, but Ohio fumbled the ball on Tuesday with the game on the line and choked. Michigan came through in the 4th quarter and finished for once. So thanks. Having a Makers to celebrate.

Drank some Weller Full Proof and then a Bourbon County Midnight Orange. Celebrating some obvious stuff that seems hard for Networks to admit currently.

I finally had a Friday evening off work. We had happy hour with some friends and co-workers on my patio. A friend brought the beer where we had several bottles of Shiner's Octoberfest and Leinenkugel’s snow drift vanilla porter. I never tried the snow drift but it was pretty good. I always associate Leinenkugel with the sandy light beers. The wine we had with filets was great we had a 2010 cab from Henry Earl Estates from Red Mountain Washington. Excellent in my opinion.

My friends, would it be obtuse to ask for calm for this young team?  I checked out for a decade after Woodson, and it seems like we were blowing in the wind.  Harbaugh is building a juggernaut, it takes time, and they should keep the staff in place.  Also, let these young men harden.

Casablanca, A Nimbus Estate Pinot Noir from the Casablanca Valley in Chile.

It’s a medium bodied smooth dry soft Pinot with a red fruit bouquet, strawberries, raspberries, cherries with a touch of cranberry. It has additional notes of delicately smoked herbs, French oak, white chocolate and espresso coffee with hints of lemur piss, the back seat of Jennifer Daley’s 1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible, burnt black tar heroin, sea salt leprechaun balls and dried lavender.

3 1/2 stars.

Sorry I’m late to the party, or early, but it’s game day!!!! Drinking a Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere to get the homegate started, then moving to a French Toast Devil Dog by Roak.  I’ll be hitting some shiznit and drink a wide array of beers throughout the day.  Setting up our yard for an outdoor viewing party on this beautiful fall day.

go blue!!!
