I believe Rocky Wirtz knew about Aldrich and Beach. Stinks that Bettman fined them so little that they were able to recoup their losses the night they "won" the Connor Bedard lottery.
But really, you expected anything else? Wirtz sacrificed Stan Bowman and Joel Quenneville and then expected to avoid accountability. And Bettman protected an employer (ahem... rich owner). That's how it works, right?

Edit: his goal made the “Top Shelf Plays of the Night” highlights!
Wow. First NHL goal in game 1! Incredible. It'll still be a steep learning curve after making the jump. He's not going to be a first line fixture in year one. But that's a good way to build some momentum and confidence going into the off season.
