The stadium is jam packed with dozens upon dozens of people.

UGH

I love college football and will watch just about any game, but these games with quiet and small crowds are tough to really get into.

so, why was Kevin Wilson forced out at IU? He turned their program around and signed a huge contract, then left in the off-season. I must have missed this news when it came out back in the winter

You're stealing my "schtick" and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

No seriously, I'm glad someone else can be objective about it. He's NOT a homer by any stretch and part of the reason he moved to Tennessee was he was getting harassed by OSU fans because he wasn't a homer enough.

He does a great job, provides solid analysis...much better than many here give him credit for. He's not afraid to show Michigan love.

Now OSU is going to be good this year, we know this, so he's going to show them some love...we just need to prepare ourselves now.

They're good, they deserve the hype. Doesn't mean we can't and won't beat them in November...we're pretty damn good too!

OK, so I have a question about viewing but don't want to start a new thread that will push off one of WDs apparel threads.

I have PS VUE, so how does one watch games on ABC/ESPN such as M-Fla Saturday? will it be an option on the ESPNwatch APP? Will it be available on one of the ESPN channels since PS isn't a "regional" feed that has mirrored viewing fro ABC games?

Meyer is 61-6 in six years. Fucking insane. Must be really nice to have walked into a dynasty that Tressel built. I have to imagine that he would not have that great of a record if it were not for Tressel.

I LOVE the first Thursday night kicking off the season. A delicious appetizer of real college football before Saturday gets things going in full. Didn't even mind when it was Michigan playing, except of course for the result.

It's weird hearing Twin Cities radio talk about the start of the season... 11 days from now. They're referring to the NFL, of course, but football begins this weekend.

(Nice TD for Minnie, wonder how repeatable that kind of play is in real competition though. BTW that stripe is a bad look.)

NFL has kind of made it a drag, though. Thursday used to have some reasonably substantial college games; now they have NFL games that nobody likes for most of the season. And the NFL games are bad, in part because they actually have a shorter week than college teams do (playing Sundays instead of Saturdays) to recover and prepare.

Watching Lee Corso tonight is painful, but in the end, he is one of the biggest faces of College Football.

I think after this year he should stop doing the show full time, and he should just be on the show for one segment and then the Saturday Selections to give his picks (along with headgear for the last one of course). Just seems to be a sensible solution.

Shane Morris not having a great outing with CMU against Rhode Island.  Cincinnati stuggling with Autin Peay.

Gohpers are doing ok against Buffalo, but only up 7-0.

Kinda hoping Fleck gets exposed big time up in Minneapolis. I made the mistake of watching all of that Being PJ Fleck show on ESPN, and gosh is this guy a high school coach in a college position. It's like someone automated every bad motivational coach catchphrase into an otherwise blank human being, pumped them full of Red Bull, and shoved them on the sideline.
