Felt just like late November. We beat #2 Ohio St. with a historic performance.
Look. The team needed to turn the page 6 months ago.
But not me. No way.
Just watched the entire Michigan/OSU game AND all of the postgame coverage, and it still feels just as sweet. In many ways, a perfect game (especially when you follow it up with the Iowa B1G Championship Game). I absolutely loved this team.
...I had a shitty day today, now it's not so damn bad. If you're ever having a tough day, I encourage you to do the same, just watch from beginning to end, no fast forward, pause, or rewind. You won't regret it.
Anyway, the board is dead and I don't feel bad posting this meaningless thread. Go Blue, y'all. Go Blue.
42-27. Never forget
If you are short on time, you can also take out a piece of paper and write "John Cooper" 10 times (10 for the number of losses to Michigan). That turns around a day as well.
Yes, and if YOU turn around three times and also say, "There's no place like home," then. . . whoops, inspiration abandoned me at the worst time.
Yes, I do that. Then I pour a bourbon, put my feet up, and read MGOBLOG.
Then John Cooper will possess Ryan Day one more time and lose yet again.
ryan day is john cooper 2.0
Recently watched the highlights and loved it. The good guys demolished OSU. My favorite part was when they straight up quit and let Hassan get his fifth touchdown.
The effort on the 4th touchdown was very similar to the 5th
Post game coverage is awesome. Looked like everyone in the stadium walked onto the field and exhaled. Satisfaction.
More wins, more head to head wins, more B1G championships, more national championships. It is a lot of fun being osu’s big brother.
One win in nine tries doesn’t quite constitute big brotherhood. OSU has more wins than you in the past 10 years, the past 20 years, the past 30 years, the past 40 years, the past 50 years, the past 60 years, the past 70 years, the past 80 years, the past 90 years and the past 100 years. If you subtract the years before the Buckeyes had a team (and of course you were dominant then); OSU has a better head to head record. Not big brother. Better stick to MSU.
42-27
in the snow
ohio had sniffles. and tummy aches.
Haskins... son of Zeus.
nothing against zeus, but i was thinking more like thor, with his hammer that crushed ohio
Haven’t seen this game in a couple of months. It’s time to again. Thanks for this fun reminder! 42-27, right?
And let's not forget the shot in the arm our recruiting will receive, right guys? Guise?
Maize Blue, fantastic and very sane life advice. Glad it made your day thanks for the reminder 🤘🏼⚡️💙
We are in the single deadest sports time for non baseball/softball fans. A thread like this to spread some positivity isn't meaningless to me. Go blue.
So you don’t enjoy basketball? The NBA playoffs have been 🔥 and we don’t hear a word about LeBron. The only real disappointment for me is Morant getting hurt but there have been some great games.
Dead??? Michigan Rowiing and Women's golf will be both be competing for Natalie's soon and s chance for us to win the Directors Cup. What could be more exciting?
Whenever I'm having a bad day, I listen to Weird Al's "White & Nerdy."
Always turns my frown upside down. Can't wait for the Daniel Radcliffe biopic.
They were lucky to stay in the game. They needed several huge 50/50 plays to keep it close.
#everyday
I see what you did there. Nice.
I have both games on my DVR and I haven’t watched in a while.
Thanks for reminding us with this thread. I know what I’m doing on the next rainy day down here (could be Sunday which would be perfect).
When I'm having a tough day, I listen to "You Raise me Up" by Josh Groban 😉
Well, at least your listening to Groban sing it rather than Rich Rod...
I have the B1G Football in 60 on DVR and I watch it at least once or twice a month. #42-27
I love those 'Football in 60' broadcasts, but not for that game. You just can't savor it enough...
Anyone know if there is a 4K version of the game available anywhere?
Still not over it. Best day of the year for me.
I'm sorry you had a down day, my friend. It is my firm hope that bonding here with fellow Michigan fans took your down day and helped pump it up, you have got to pump it up, don't you know?
According to 247 --- last years Ohio St team was the best roster they have EVER had (according to recruiting ranks)
Imagine what the score wouldve been if we didnt throw a INT from the 11 on first down ,Stroud doesnt fall on the bad snap inside his own 3 and Henderson doesnt get the 3 bounces back to his arms, after he fumbles a toss sweep inside his own 10 --
