Ezekiel Elliott: Tired of hearing about Jim Harbaugh

http://mweb.cbssports.com/ncaaf/eye-on-college-football/25556056/ezekie… Not sure if link will work or not because I'm on mobile. If not then Google works wonders. Anyway, I think this is hilarious. Elliott thinks Harbaugh shouldn't be able to talk since he didn't beat them last year. Says he doesn't know anything about the rivalry. However, he might be forgetting about a guarantee made a few years back. Also, Harbaugh isn't even saying anything about osu at the moment. He had beef with smith but now it's all about the camps. Even more ironic is that he said all of this in an interview with Finebaum, which, of course Finebaum would interview an osu grad to discuss Michigan. Good on CBS though for putting him back in his place. The whole "you can't talk smack about a rivalry when you haven't won a rivalry game" has some truth to it, but he beat osu 3 times as a player and he wasn't even talking about osu recently.

This CLEARLY demonstrates that Harbaugh's plan is masterful.

NoooooBody can ignore him.

The constant buzz he creates...by people talking about him without prompting...is AMaizing!

Elliott, Bosa, Finebaum, CBS, ESPN...

Think about it, Zach Johnson(a golfer!), has been rankled enough that he makes comments to the media.

The frequency that - MICHIGAN - is a topic of discussion is

Beautiful.

HAIL!

to listen to Zeke basically say crazy Jim needs to shut his mouth until he proves he can actually win something. Especially knowing that it was Zeke himself that ran for over 200+ yards in the big house last season. But there was something else at play here. Finebaum was intentionally baiting Zeke to answer questions he knew would sound like shots at Harbaugh. Finebaum was leading that charge on purpose to continue his rant that Crazy Jim is a asshole and UM ain't shit. The whole interview amounted to Finebaum bashing UM and Harbaugh, using a loyal player at a rival school to do it. Obviously Zeke is no fool and was happy to take the bait, but Finebaum isn't fooling anybody with his tactics.

Harbaugh didn't even start anything. Harbaugh gets attention because he's one of the few coaches to be extremely successful in both the nfl and college. He doesn't choose to be in the headlines. That's on the media.

to do with David Shaw. It has been Shaws program for quite a while now. I realize you want to try and credit it crazy Jim, and maybe the first 1-2 years you would have a valid point, but not the last 4 years. Moreover Harbaughs actual record at Stanford is good, but far from great. He had 1 season out of 4 that resulted in a BCS Bowl, just 1. He did this only because he had Andrew Luck, Luck was the difference, much more so than crazy Jim. That's not to say Jim deserves no credit, but he was 29-21 in his 4 years at Stanford. He had 1 season at 12-1, the only other winning season was 8-5 in his 3rd year. Anybody can have 1 good season, Hoke proved that. We will see more this year. Fact is that with UM's recruits any decent coach should be able to win 10 games with UM's schedule. Harbaugh faced 2 good teams last year, he lost both games, one by more than 4 touchdowns, at home, in the biggest game of the year.

Yeah you can't know about the rivalry unless you won your only try as a coach. He's had more games than Zeke. I think it would be funny if he got drafted by the Ravens and had to apologize

I don't want to generalize but... I think if you put OSU players statements in front of me next to Michigan players' statements I would always know which was which. One set sounds like it's getting a degree. Yes, I generalized after saying I didn't want to generalize

It's funny these players from the filth are talking smack now also after they are gone. What's this like the 3rd or 4th one this offseason? If I'm anyone of any importance in an NFL organization, I'm looking at these ohio kids and thinking wow to myself. They had better be damn good at what they do because the whole works are bunch of little dipshits.

What a fucking moran. You would think an OSU player would be well aware of the humiliations suffered by that team at the hands of Jim Harbaugh. Then again, he went to OSU so it's entirely possible that he doesn't know how to read.

Believe it or not many OSU fans and players are completely unaware that football existed before Jim TresseLee. Or at least they have no clue what the rivalry was like before 2001. It's going to be quite a shock to their system once it regresses to the mean.

Ezekiel Elliot: Tired of hearing about every single presidential candidate in the race

"I'm tired of hearing about every presidential candidate on the news," said Elliott on the show. "They all need to get in check with reality, because at the end of the day, you can't talk smack about winning a general election when you haven't won the nomination yet."

"You have to win the nomination to talk behind it."

It's hard to blame Elliott for his stance. After all, not a single presidential candidate has locked up the nomination, and it appears the process will go on for both major parties for quite some time.

But there's one thing that Elliott is forgetting about the election, and that's the fact that eventually, both parties will inevitably select a nominee from those in the current field.

"I think that they should all stop promoting themselves because none of them are the nominee. In fact, they should all drop out of the race. I don't see any of them eventually winning the nomination of their parties, and I bet they'll all drop out like a bunch of other candidates did earlier in the election cycle. I mean, why wouldn't they? If they haven't won the nomination at this point, they never will."

Thank you! I appreciate the compliment. I always have a ton of fun making posts like that, and I'm glad when other people get some form of enjoyment out of them, too.

As far as the points go, I think I got most on my first day on here. I try to post only if I feel I have something to add, whether it's funny or otherwise worthwhile. I think that it also helps to understand a little bit about the tone, humor, and culture around here, as I've lurked since 2010ish, and this is actually my second account here under the same username. I requested that my original be banned a month and a half or so back and planned on going back to lurking entirely shortly after signing day, after having the last iteration of my account for only a month or so, but I just couldn't stay away, I guess!

I've always really enjoyed posting on forums, but I have a really bad habit of posting for a couple of months then deleting my account for whatever reason. I'll try to stick around this time, though! MGoBlog is by far my favorite place on the internet.

I'm going to be entirely honest here, you and several other users' obsession with every new account being WD, and about WD in general borders on pathetic. I'm not really a fan of him either and find his self-promotion extremely tiresome (who makes themselves a custom avatar with their name on it, or posts a collection thread pointing to their username in a book while bragging about showing it to their future grandchildren, for example?), and I'm positive that he uses multiple accounts, and he was certainly Benn and Discuss Man (my favorite instance was when WD and Benn were arguing in the mod sticky), but accusing literally every new poster of being him is ridiculous. He's extremely bad at hiding who he is, and he has a very distinct style of writing and an obsession with starting new threads, particularly Twitter-based ones.

I don't like WD, either, and often find myself embarrassed on his behalf by a lot of the stuff he posts and hope that he some day comes to a realization about a lot of it, but the anti-WD crowd is far worse. It's part of the reason that I left in the first place, the smugness and douchebaggery on display from certain users is unbearable.

Let me ask you this, when you go outside, do you see WD behind rocks and stop signs and hiding in trees? He's on your mind so much, I'm starting to think that you might secretly be in love with him. Have you ever considered telling him how you feel? You might have to end up fighting Timmy for the maiden fair, though.

Part of me is tempted to say that I am WD and stir up as much shit as possible before I leave, going out in a pathetic, wonderful blaze of glory, but I'm just going to leave instead. I never should have signed back up. Though I apologize for my late night rant and admit I overreacted, you are all collectively the dumbest group of smart people in the world.
