Those are three highly respected Michigan Insiders. Why would you need anyone else to confirm something like this?

I feel that your sarcasm detector is broken.

In an age of shitty journalism and constant political disinformation, I require 75 independent sources before I believe anything is true anymore...

I've had friends who wanted to head to law school and I tried to warn them not to go. Most did anyways and regret it.

Do not go. Move to Alaska and hunt moose if necessary.

1. Enroll in Law School
2. Take classes until you meet "The One".
3. Drop Out
3a. Pay off your own law school debt
3b. Pay off "The One's" law school debt
4. Profit (at some far off point in the future)

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and guess that you work for a non-profit, the gov't, or in-house, and not a large firm.
February 29th, 2016 at 11:37 AM ^
Usually a good guess.
I'm very happy as well, and I'm definitely not Big Law.

Logged in for the upvote. No way he works for a big law firm. Also, no way he's truly happy practicing law. Show me a happy lawyer and I can almost guarantee he/she is either hopped on up cocaine or heavily sedated. LOL

Hi! My only drug is coffee and Old Bay Seasoning.
....though it doesn't hurt that I can get a mocha here.
EDIT: To clarify, I DO NOT put Old Bay on coffee.

What's so bad about working at a place where everyone you work with is constantly miserable, and whose only joy in life comes from trying to make your life as miserable as theirs?

Over the past 40 years, I've done government, big law, medium law and very small law. Right now a partner with a 150 lawyer firm, and I have been happy in all settings although happier in some than others, but that is more a reflection on the character of the institution than the practice of law.

Assuming it's law school at Vandy, until you have seen the rich, southern women at Vandy, I might defer passing judgement, rules of economics notwithstanding.

Go work at Burger King, go into the woods and forge for nuts and berries.

Bars is from Nashville, right? That's kind of nice, though, if that is the case then he would be back home, goign to law school more or less down the street from where he grew up. That would be a difficult situation to top, I would think.

Well he's from Nashville so that would make sense and if his parents could afford tuition at Montgomery Bell Academy I'd be willing to bet they can help with Vandy Law school as well.

Was Jones playing on special teams?
February 29th, 2016 at 11:19 AM ^
Rumors about these two have been around for a while, so it's not that surprising. Bars wants to get started with law school. Jones wants more playing time.
