Well, that was brutal. Threw that arm punt into double coverage with a safety over the top. That's the kind of thing that ASU cannot afford if they're seriously entertaining a win tonight.

JFC. The talent USC has on offense is amazing. But if you can cover the deep guys and make them drive the field, you can beat them. They aren't built to drive the field consistently. This is both the fun in Riley's offense, and the pain.

The ASU RB just took the crown of a USC defenders helmet in the face mask. The defender left his feet for the hit, the RB stopped cold, the ball flung free, and the RB laid out for a minute before getting up. And not one word was mentioned about targeting. In fact, the announcers joked about getting 'burped' on such a hit.
Why are RB allowed to take targeting hits like that?
