ESPN OTL: Terrelle Pryor made $20-$40k autographing memorabilia
Per Michael Kim's Twitter:

I don't see anything on their main page, and shockingly this hasn't created a Twitterstorm as of yet. I'll update with links if/when they become available.
One has to think Pryor's decision to leave OSU is related to this forthcoming story. Unfortunately, since he's no longer a student-athlete, he technically doesn't have to cooperate with the NCAA.
Edit: I'm an idiot who can't re-size an image. Was going to post this here.
EDIT #2: Link courtesy of Erik_in_Dayton. Gracias.
EDIT #3: More info coming out, this one by SportsbyBrooks (HT: TomVH on Twitter).
why I find this shocking anymore... But I still do...
Farewell, Gene Smith... Don't worry, Gordon Gee has got your back.

Edit: Sorry, didn't see it posted down below... left here for ease of finding.
That we didn't land Pryor
And Jah. You can't forget Jah.
They were obviously not gifts so this seems to be one big mistake and the NCAA can just head on home.....
I hope he signed each one with "everbody murders".
I hope he signed it with "Judas".
you rang? why would you hope he signed each one with me?
...and sorry, I accidentally clicked "moderate". Not sure what that does.
It means you gave him an upvote, unless you changed the dropbox from "Normal" to one of the negative options.
That's nothing. I made 65K last year hoein; and I didn't let my school or my teammates down.
65k?
Jesus fuck... I just barfed
Mr. Rogers...you dirty old man...
Gosh, I hope he invested wisely and made smart choices about how to put his money to work for him.
What am I talking about? Of course, he did. Kid's 21 and already has his own attorney. I'm sure he's got an accountant, too.
well, he certainly was not burdened with a car payment
a fistfull of subpoenas who could give a shit if you are a student athlete or not. Remember Willem Dafoe as the head FBI investigator in Mississippi Burning, "Not only do I have the guts, I have the authority."
If true, every game, EVERY ONE, since he accepted the first dollar, would be a game in which he was ineligible.
LOL.
I hope that Purdue loss is still there.
I was under the impression that when the NCAA invalidates seasons, it only takes away wins, no? So I would think Purdue would get to keep that win.
At least that is my understanding.
Pretty sure losses aren't vacated. Justice.
If he doesnt speak to contradict the accusations, the accusations may prove to be sufficient. The NCAA is not a court of law. There are no rules of evidence. What is tOSU going to argue if they feel their penalties are unfair....we only cheated all of our opponents for a decade a little as opposed to a lot....I dont think that is going to work so well since the press is chomping at the bit to hang the NCAA for inaction here.
It's less about the rules of evidence and more about the NCAA not needing to meet a burden of proof, which could make the accusations problematic for the program.
I would be astonished if the bylaws don't set a burden of proof.
Seriously, can this summer get any better? Best June ever. I can't wait for the NCAA committee meeting and watch the whole state of Ohio freak out.
I guess he wasnt lying when talking about selling items for his family, he was their sole source of income
shoes without some supplemental income.
I was like:
But now, I'm like:
This got a true LOL out of me. Well done sir. I almost wish Pryor had decided to stay just to be an even bigger distraction but that just couldnt be plausible with this bombshell dropping.
ha ha fat cat that is funny!
Despite the fact that your comment was upvoted to the max, I still upvoted that shit just on GP.
will want to have a little talk with him, also.
You can ignore the NCAA and hide behind your attorney...the IRS not so much
I just don't know if the dollars involved will get anyone excited about pursuing an investigation. There are bigger tax cheats out there to occupy their time.
You make an example of the few to influence the many. Looks like his stuff is sellling for a few bucks still...
I'm holding out for one with marijuana leaves on it.
this is true as this would be the final nail. HOWEVA.... 'former friend who witnessed it'?? Only thing worse would be jilted ex-baby mama.
first read: hilarious
second read: hmmm... there probably is one out there and she's probably got some stories to tell.
$20K-$40K..... which he promptly turned over to mom, who then bought her baby a sweet Nissan. All makes perfect sense now.
the exact same thing.
is an excellent point. If it goes to court proceedings...this would explode.
OMG, this could be fun for months and months...
