GameDay was in JAX for the game last year, too. It's too bad they aren't coming because it's the best matchup of the week (two Top 10 teams). I live in JAX and will be out there there tailgating tomorrow. It will be crazy in the parking lot.....and the festivities have already started.

Rece Davis and David Pollack are absolutely terrible. They both hate on Michigan at any chance they get.

Agree, Rece is great but Pollack is an embarrassment.

Rece is great and I'm fine with Pollack

Yes. Rece always calls us Meeeeeechigan.
Anyone who channels Bob Ufer can't be all that bad.

That is completely untrue about Rece Davis. He seems perfectly happy talking about Michigan. He was on a GR sports radio show last year before the Wisconsin game and was gushing about Michigan, Harbaugh, and the significance of the matchup (he flatly disagreed that it wasn't a big game). Now, sure, he obviously knew he was on a station in Michigan and the game was on ABC so he wasn't going to downplay it, but I'm of the belief that he was genuine in his praise of Michigan.
OTOH, Pollack is a shameless SEC trout sniffer.

Pollack picked us to win against ND, said he was impressed by the second half of the PSU game
November 1st, 2019 at 10:24 AM ^
Wow, I am shocked to hear that. Normally he loves getting in knocks on Michigan.

Agreed--Davis is as good of a replacement for Fowler as you could have wanted.

Pollack is the only one on that show that hates on Michigan every chance he gets. Rece Davis is unbiased and very fair. He is one of my favorites. I bet many people don't even know he is a Bama alum.

Still tune in to every episode but usually I only watch the last 30 min

They're in Memphis and they couldn't get Johnny Rivers (born in New York City as John Henry Ramistella) who's still alive and who's turning 77 next week as their guest picker?

I eschew what has become the derivative GameDay broadcast experience for Premier League soccer on Saturday mornings; and I stand by that decision.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Craig James allegedly killed five hookers while he was at SMU.

Memphis is overrated.
Sincerely,
Temple University

The only rivalry I can think of that's more intense than Memphis-Temple probably has to be Rutgers-Illinois

Bruh,
I was referencing the athletic competition contested between the Tigers of Memphis and the Owls of Temple University in an American Athletic Conference matchup in Philadelphia, PA earlier this season.

I don’t really care for Gameday as a whole anymore. I tune in for the picks, and peruse twitter afterwards to see what some of the best signs were. Besides that it’s just a whole lot of nothing for three hours.
Also, hearing Desmond laugh is almost as bad as hearing nails on a chalkboard. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the guy despite his obvious homerism on camera, and he’s a Michigan icon. But hearing his laugh just makes me cringe for some reason. Like a half-assed Joker laugh or something.

PJ Fleck is pissed right now as he was really begging Game Day to go to their game vs PSU.

That's next week. I think Minny is on a bye this week.
Normally I think they'd get the nod for Gameday next week, and if the game was this week Gameday would absolutely be heading to Minnesota. But the problem is that LSU-Alabama is next week. #1 vs #2. It's going to be extremely hard, if not downright impossible, for Gameday to turn that down.
