Georgetown demonstrating what a 7-footer and strong power forward can do to position-less basketball teams as they are passing to the paint for 24 points and 8 rebounds in the first half from the two positions.  Course, don't ask how Navy (prohibited in recruit height) beat Georgetown last week by 10.

I don't know why we want to act and pretend as if this year would be normal in sports, and in particular amateur sports.

This isn't shocking at all.  Teams are out of rhythm, can't interact like normal, and yet expectations are as high as ever... Stupid.

crg, I am grateful for your sending my kids to school with all the money you have spent on lotteries and other superstitions, but I will live my life based on natural science.  Every basketball game has swings which is what makes it entertaining.  You don't have to follow my advice on what to watch...though one of these two top 10 Big East teams (Villanova or Creighton needs to fall tonight)

Ewing has only one 4-star on his team (freshman) but is showing that you someone like Hunter can dominate the paint against teams not used to defending that kind of length.
