Emotion Starting the Season

Preface: I honestly feel a bit bewildered and beat down after experiencing "this moment" twice in so few years. I'm positive about the impact and change Harbaugh is bringing to the program, but first game jitters seem to have replaced unbridled enthusiasm in me. Or maybe I've officially become old

Using one word, what are you feeling with the start of the season so close?

Are the norm for most programs. For a long time we only had enthusiasm to start the year because we knew we were going to kick the shit out of fools. I think Jitters are to be expected for a fan base that has fallen to were we have been lately.

annoyed. I'm really tired of people selling our team and coach short. Harbaugh took SF from low end team to serious contender in ZERO seasons.....Stanford in what, 2? We were not short on talent last year, and we aren't this year.

This game was pretty much interchangeable with any of about a dozen from the last two years, especially Utah last year. The defense is more or less ok, and the offense is terrible. Again.
