East Lansing Roll Call

Submitted by MaizenBlue93 on October 29th, 2021 at 10:22 AM

I'll be there. This will be my second road football game after Camp Randall this year. Who else will be there?

By the way, where are you parking before the game?

I'll be in the house!  Not sure where I'm parking but I'll somehow figure it out.

Was at Yost last night and will be back tonight...so it's a full weekend of Maize and Blue activities!

Going, and same page as 1989, trying to figure out parking, Not even looking for a tailgate, just want to dump the car somewhere walkable and check out bars and Gameday.

Have been to Horseshoe once and it was 8/10 in terms of hostility, what should I expect here? Kinda feel like there will be far more of us and the vibe isn't quite as violent, albiet plenty of hate still to be found.

and sorry to be needy but besides parking, anyone know where the UM fans are gathering? Sometimes the alum clubs host events, but my old man googling skills have been thwarted so far.

Really loved FFFF this week, feels like Staee can be had, they might even be a touch less than a juggernaut on the OL. But resigned to a long drive back home in sadness, it's that uncertainty that makes it so gloriously rewarding when Michigan wins

Thanks, and Go Blue!

Just don't walk down student row/campus row or whatever they're calling it this year. You'll be fine. I want to say it butts up to the tennis courts, if I remember correctly. The times I went I was very drunk. You'll know by the smell...

However, there is a good breakfast place downtown, by spartan spirits. IF it's still there.

I’ll be there section 20 row 35.   Don’t think there will be as many Michigan fans as usual bc it seems like ~400 of Michigan allotment is used for the band in section 105.

What do folks expect for the fan divide tomorrow? If msu was 4-3 or 5-2, i would think it could be about 70-30 msu/um... but given that theyre all hyped up... what do folks think?

I hope there's enough of an intermingling and hopefully some smoke about tucker leaving at 11:47 AM.

I REALLY want this game.

Yeah lately we've taken over their stadium, but this is one of the few games a year that they actually sell out and you know they think their hot shit right now (even on The Athletic they're going apeshit on Michigan articles) -- my point being is they're actually gonna show up for this game. probably 80/20 or 85/15 msu idiots.

I think we're a rightful underdog, because I think we're a top-15/20 team, not a top-10 one. I think our OL and DL can get pushed around a bit, so my biggest concern is that on offense we just can't get any rhythm going all game. On D, Michigan will probably try to grind it out and I think will find some success. I don't think MSUs pass D is as bad as most on here do, but I could see getting killed by 1000 paper cuts.

Having said that: MSU 27-Michigan 17 LFGGGGGGGG

Looking forward to an exciting game with a good outcome. Hoping the weather is at least OK.

Parking? Probably somewhere north of Grand River between Harrison and Abbot. It seems to be the Burns Park equivalent of East Lansing (free, not exactly close to the stadium but still walkable).
