Dymonte Thomas tells Bri'onte Dunn if he Bri'onte signs with Michigan so will he

Submitted by MichiganMan2424 on

Someone in the FB group posted this Facebook status of Brio'nte Dunn's.

http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=243695745661302&id=100000626352443

For those who don't want to click, I'll sumarize.

Bri'onte makes a status saying,

"i feel like im getting better and better and BETTER everyday at football #eaglnation"

Some random person comments telling Bri'onte to work hard and he'll make it to the NFL.

Kyle Kalis comments saying,

"only way this fat boy makes to the league is if he comes and runs behind my ass haha"

Then there are a few more irrelevant comments.

After that, Tom Strobel comments saying,

"Michigan....yes"

Then more irrelevant comments, and finally Dymonte comes in and says,

"Well if you go to michigan you would even be getting better and better. You sign I comitt! "

I nominate this for greatest Facebook status of the year

*EDIT* Touche ILwolverine too fast

The funniest part of that status....Random guy saying to Strobel about coming to OSU, "C'mon Strobel, you don't want to get those buckeye leaves?."

Strobel then asks him to clarify and he says, "I'm saying why don't you want to earn those buckeye leaves at OSU."

Tom Strobel, "I can pick leaves off trees in my back yard."

Buckeye fans are pathetic. I want every recruit that we go after and I know Michigan isn't a good fit for everyone, but I look at their loss, not Michigan's.

That Ronnie guy graduated in 1996. So he's around 32. Why is he discussing this stuff with high school kids. I love UofM football,  MGOBLOG and reading about our recruiting. But there is no way I'm friending the kids we offer or our commits for that matter. That dude is just plain creepy.

Thanks for posting this  I am SO excited to have these kids put on the winged helmet and represent the University.  They seem like they "get it" and they haven't even stepped foot on campus (as students).

These guys are golden. Doesn't Bri'onte see how much fun he would have with Kalis and Strobel? That conversation was hilarious, and it should be incentive enough to get Dymonte to come!

All of his friends + No Buckeye fans + No more sanctions = commitment

just a question of when.  He's out there having a great time with it all, recruiting for us, and getting pumped for his senior season.  Can't wait for his committment...this kid is going to be a (wait for it) TREMENDOUS addition to the 2013 class.

And can someone explain this comment from Strobel? Who is mr. bill..?

Bri bird...it would be verrryyyy unfortunate if "mr. bill" were to recieve a call with some "big news"

I love how all the Michigan recruits are recruiting other players, especially Dunn.  It says something about them I think.  The way they are handling themselves has to make the Michigan coaches pleased, and make their jobs a little easier.  I can't see how Dunn would not want to go to Michigan with all these people in his ear.  I still think he wants to wait to see what happens to ohio and sanctions and such, but right now I'd say he's going over things in his mind and probably in the process of trying to envision himself at Michigan.  Once that process runs its course we'll see a Hello: Bri'onte Dunn post.

I thought the whole conversation was fairly tame, seeing as it was among rivals and strangers.  I'd expect a conversation like that to get out of hand quickly based on how things flame up on message boards when people are behind their computer screen.

Props to Kalis and Strobel for remaining classy and composed while facing the unrelenting advances of some middle-aged tool.

"Hmmmm temptinggg.   A friend request from Big Ronnie.....or my future... hmmmmm"

Strobel appears to be a quick thinker and focused on his future.

You guys are killin' me!  Great thread. . .good for more chuckles than I've had in awhile.  Loved the comment about chicks doing math.  One question though. . .how could bucknut fan Ronnie be 32 if he graduated in 96' after what was surely 8 solid years of high school?
