Desmond Howard says we might defend against Duggan runs with a "mosh rush"
Desmond mentioned that we might defend with "a spy or... a mosh rush". I know what a spy is but have not heard of "mosh rush" before. I spent many seconds googling the term but the only relevant thing I found was the article quoting Desmond saying it - linked. Anyone?

Whatever our strategy, I hope we're prepared for the natural grass surface at Cardinals' Stadium. Our defense, in particular, seems to be based on speed, so here's hoping that playing on a unique (and slower) surface doesn't create any problems. I've seen games out here in the past where the turf gets torn up at times, so hopefully that problem is licked and won't be an issue, either. (For a game of this magnitude, I would assume this has been addressed.)

Yeah, I've posted about this a few times already but I believe our next game is our first and only game on natural grass this season.
Teams that play their home games on natural grass have complained specifically about the State Farm Stadium natural grass so I expect this to be issue. I'm just hoping it's the type of issue that leads to surrendering a couple of extra first downs rather than a couple of extra touchdowns for the Hynotoads.

I would be more concerned about the playing surface if this game were in the middle of the season and we had little time to adapt. For this game, we will have had some time to practice on grass.

The principle of the “mosh rush” is actually fairly simple. You get in the pit and try to sack someone.
