Is it really any different to sell a jersey with D. Robinson on the back than it is to sell a number 16 jersey? They even admit the correlation.

But when we want some of that likeness in the MGoStore....Noooooooooooooooooooo, we can't have.

The university/brand can not profit off of the players name. Thus the #16 with no name. Once the player leaves the university the jersey can be sold with a players name on the back.

Hm... Then how come if you try to customize a jersey, you cannot use a last name/number combination that matches any player, current or former?

I took my old #15 jersey my sister bought me during the practice jesus days of Breaston and taped on a "+1" to it...

This gives me options of hiding the +1 if Cox ever plays, supporting Denard, and confusing the hell out of MSU and OSU fans who can't do basic addition..
