Delaware State Band coming to Ann Arbor
I talked to my buddy in the band today and asked him what bands would be coming for the rest of the season. He confirmed that all away bands would be coming, including Delaware State.

I can't wait for this. The halftime possibilities are endless, and I expect quite a show. Is anyone as excited for this as I am?

After seeing that video, I may be looking forward to the band more than the game

Maybe I've watched Drumline one too many times but I was expecting more movement, more dancing etc.
Wonder if the MMB will feel like they need to up the ante a little?

Their band sounds like a beehive

fantastic name!
the best quote from the PA guy. "One hornet may sting you, but a hole swarm will kill you dead."

I can think of nothing more frightening than a "hole swarm."

I just came back to this thread and noticed that. Way too much Nyquil® last night.
Upon reflection however, I think I prefer hole to whole.
That band has a whole lotta shake.

why the hell did the footage of the band cut out with the DANCING GIRLS?! That's when the network should have focused on the halftime show.
Also, how are we going to hear all 70 of that marching band at M Stadium? We can't even hear our 1,287-member strong band.

We should simulate the "BET Classic" like they did in the movie Drumline. Then have both bands "tie" and go to a drum off. That would be quite entertaining.

Man I hope they do a drum off with the MMB drumline.

I would pay (not alot though) to see the battle of the bands between Alaska Fairbanks and Delaware State.
October 6th, 2009 at 11:46 AM ^
Only, and I mean ONLY, if Alaska Fairbanks brings that rocket butted polar bear.

I think we've found an upside to playing D-IAA teams. If it's going to continue, can we pleeeeease play Southern?
