Old School Wolverine,

Sorry if I hurt your feelings by not believing Michigan was going to win this game back before we even knew Washington was a 4-8 squad.

I assure you, dear snowflake, it wasn’t personal. In fact, snowflake, I didn’t think of you at all when reasoning how this game might go. I’ll be more gentle next time in sharing my thoughts about a football season in case some old school types I’ve never heard of might feel ridiculed by my opinion of upcoming games.

but guys, Old School Wolverine is right. Just like any special snowflake he wants everyone else to be more inclusive and appreciative of diverse views. We can all do better.

That was one of the most insane environments I have ever been in.  I personally lost my voice and had to cover my ears on a few occasions.  GREAT JOB EVERYONE! I have never heard that place as loud as it was today for the extended amount of time it was at that level!

Awesome with an !!! Especially not walking out at the half, pissed off, thinking about our annual bowl game against Florida. Don’t even know what to do with myself now? Maybe I’ll go looking for tickets on the cheap for Indy courtesy of buckeye fans.

That was the loudest and most juiced Michigan crowd I can ever recall. The game call from Johnson and Klatt was barely audible over the constant din and roar as our guys made play after play today.

I've now experienced three generational Michigan victories over Ohio State: 1969, 1997 and today. It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine fan -- forever.

Best day game environment I’ve ever witnessed in over 40 years of going to Michigan Stadium.  Even 1997 OSU game wasn’t as electric as today.  The 12th man hit OSU hard and they didn’t know how to respond.  5 false starts too.  Go blue!

Agree… seems like the whine and cheese crowd stayed home and rabid fans were back.

Crowd noise was a difference maker with the false starts on the OSU offense.

I don’t know where they pulled it out from after the 2-4 COVID year, but this team just has an incredible energy and confidence about them that I don’t think I’ve ever seen from a Michigan team before. I was at the Wisconsin game where Michigan danced for the jump around—I was there today too and it was like that times a hundred. And it only intensified in the second half. Every time out and before every defensive play the players got absolutely amped and the whole stadium just became electric. I know the piped in music has been… controversial at times around here, but it’s impossible to deny that they’ve generally done a good job with it of late, and today was exhibit A. I totally lost my voice and can’t even speak right now.

Was there in 1997 and first OSU game since then - both amazing games, but today was DEFINITELY louder - press boxes help and the entire stadium was into it.  Was with my dad in 97’ and there with my kids today - SACRED!!!

The crowd was awesome today; I screamed louder than at any game in the past 25 years, and I think everyone else did the same.  Also, there were fewer Buckeye fans than I expected; only about 10% of the fans within five rows of me in section 1 were Buckeyes; the same was true of the sections across from me, judging by coat colors.

Speaking of Buckeyes, the Buckeye fan in front of me never got a chance to lift up his lame sign which read "Jim Harbaugh wipes back to front 0-6 teers [sic]".  It hung at his side all game.  After the last turnover on downs, he was apparently waiting for some miracle to save his team, since he stayed til the end, looking around in disbelief as the final seconds ticked away before making his sad exit.

Like most of the U-M fans, I stayed around for about 15 minutes after the game ended; it was a blast!

It seemed like an incredible environment. Can’t help but feel super happy for players, students and fans that were there - that’s a game that everyone who was there will remember for a lonngg time. Ann Arbor should be an amazing place to be tonight as well

The energy of the crowd was so great from the opening drive on definitely felt it. Loved it. Everything worked together today to beat the Luckeyes. And the celebration on the field after the game was so great to see- players and fans all In celebration. Hutch taking selfies with the fans around him. Great day.

Amazing . I read a comment this week about someone being questioned why they still go to the game after so many years of disappointment and their response was "I wanna be there on the day we finally win " I'm so damn happy for you !

Yes, you can tell that the Fox crew loved the post game celebration, even Reggie Bush (who rarely doesn't have a negative thing to say about Michigan), Brady Quinn (who's from Columbus), Lienert, Stoops - they all reveled in it and seemed glad that we won.  Many people are happy to have some new blood in the hunt for the playoffs this year.
