Cause that's what I was thinking, scorned indeed. Pretty sad that Cowherd shows more courage and character than mr. " you hurt my feelings" Harbaugh. Especially since Cowherd was right. What a pussy.

Cowherd continues to talk about Harbaugh because he believes it makes him relevant.  I love that Jim doesn't even acknowledge him whether it is intentional or because Jim is in his own world.  The only reason people are talking about Cowherd is because he is talking about Harbaugh.

'I'd love to do a sitdown with Harbaugh and let him just eat me alive, let him take shots at me, do whatever he wants to do outside of strangling me, let's do it.'

Does Cowherd realize that Jim Harbaugh is not a sports talk radio host?

For those that don't want to click the link:

Cowherd says he wanted to do an interview with Harbaugh and was told no.
He tried to make eye contact when Harbaugh was getting off the team bus and Harbaugh looked away.
He then stood right next to Mike Pereira while he was talking to Harbaugh and Harbaugh wouldn't acknowledge him.
He says he loves Harbaugh and is rooting for him and he will win games.
Waste of time article.

Was that Cowherd felt left out of the Harbaugh festivities. Like the last one to be chosen scenario. If Harbaugh thought he was worth his 2 cents he would have given it to him. But everyone knows Cowherd is an idiot.

Pretty empty piece. It strikes me as a vehicle for Cowherd to express what a straight-shooting, no-nonsense guy he is. Harbaugh is merely a prop in the story.

But that's Cowherd's schtick -- he's the only 'brave' man in the room; everyone else is at least a little phoney.

Meh. Whatever.

A lot of the Cowherd hate stems from long before his interview with Harbaugh. It goes back years, and it's because he comes across as an unlikable douche. He epitomized what was worst about ESPN while he was there.

he does remember that he hung up on harbaugh right? and that he is the only person i have heard yet that had a difficult interview with harbaugh. so maybe it wasnt jh that made it  so awkward?

Cowherd needs Harbaugh in order to be relevant.  He needs interviews & stories or else what good is he?  His value to his employer is reduced because he fucked up his earlier interview with Jim.  Jim doesn't need him, he is turning away more interviews than this DB ever gets...

Isn't that what happened when he was on ESPN? I know he had a show that was on sometime before PTI and Around the Horn. He thought he was the box office draw, but then Michelle Beadle upstaged him. I think they kept her on air and Cowherd was moved to strictly radio.

The Fox-1 tent at Rice-Eccles was just below our section in the corner. At Halftime I walked to the rail and had thoughts of shouting something at Cowherd who was right there, and then turned to the three SLC cops standing there and asked, "What would it take for me to get arrested if I yelled Hello down there to my friend?!" The one cop sort of chuckled and something like "don't yell when they're Live or anything"
